The Hostel was super clean. I loved the Onsen you could use, there is a public one as well as private ones. The staff was so helpful and friendly and had some amazing tips on what to see.

very traditional ryokan that was comfortable, warm and our room was very large. it was conveniently located walking distance from the station, restaurants and supermarket. Hosts were super friendly and drove us anywhere we wanted to go. The property has two bathhouses and both were clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved having a tatami sleeping and dining area in the family room. The staff were so nice to us, helping us find our way around town. There are beautiful parks and shrines near by. The mountain top onsen is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. We look forward to returning one day.

Absolutely adored this hotel. The room was massive (I think it’s listed as a 3 person room it felt like it was big enough for 4). The private onsen was great - we used it 3 times during our 1 night stay. The public onsen was also great. But by far the best part of our stay was the staff - they are super friendly and adorable. We have very very limited Japanese, but they communicated with us well. They spoke enough English to tell us about our stay. They put out the futons for us while we were out for dinner (they asked what time we would be out and clearly communicated to us that they would come into our room during that time to put out the futons) and brought breakfast to our room the next morning at the time we requested. Breakfast was delicious too, with a great variety! I think this is my favourite hotel stay of not only this Japan trip, but also any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 100% recommend!

EVERYTHING. the onsen was great. The rooms were big and comfy. We didn’t even sleep in the American beds as the futons were so comfortable. The amenities were cute and useful. The ac was accurate and responsive. The breakfast was AMAZING. We loved it.
