The genuine hospitality we received from all the staff right up to the owners warmed our heart. The food was delicious the spa treatment was luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. The owners and management had gone out of their way to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. The hotel had experience zero to no snow but they arranged a transfer up the mountain for us to experience it. Offering a ski school and a ski pass sales point, Sarıkamış Aras Otel is located in Sarıkamıs just 3 km from Sarikamis Ski Centre. We arrived late but they still provided a hot dinner for us. Ski equipment hire in hotel with free transportation to ski slopes.

I had to work a lot during our stay, and the wifi was very good and experienced no interruption. The equipment in the kitchen was top quality, with even a small oven, not just a stove. In extra, we had a view on the Kars Castle. Even on short notice, our host was extremely quick to answer, clear in his communications, and he was very accommodating.

The service is very professional and friendly, reception staff was going every extra mile to help having pleasant stay and to help with requests, inluding taxi and dinner arrangements. Room was clean, confortable and even nicer than on pictures. The location is perfect - just next to the old city with many Russian buildings and formal church in walking distance. Good breakfast selection in hotel, and many restaurants are available nearby. Highly recommended!

The location is smack in the middle of Kars, just under Kars castle and central to lots of restaurants. You're not going to beat this location with any other hotel, bar none. The hotel is new and in a super-nicely converted building (it's unclear what it was - but perhaps a large barn or stables of some sort) and it combines rustic features of old stone with nice new, warm wood. The rooms were nicely sized and comfortable and the bathrooms modern with all the amenities we were looking for. The hotel is adjoined to a popular cafe in Kars (which is also owned by them) and served up an overwhelming traditional Turkish breakfast everyday. Super value in this.

The location of the Hotel was so easy to find, extremely close to the main points of the city. The rooms were large and the heating system of the room was excellent. Everyday our rooms were cleaned and they replaced new slippers, towels and water bottles. From the reception to management, even the breakfast, everybody was always helpful and smiling. We were even late for breakfast one day but they still opened service to us, which they did not have to. To sum up, We are highly satisfied of the accommodation and planning to stay again in our next trips.
