Boasting a garden and a terrace, Dar ALOUINI is situated in Kairouan. An indoor swimming pool and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The location was very good (5 minutes from the Great Mosque). A quiet and authentic place (a house that combines tradition with modernity). The breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool is also a plus. The accommodation also has indoor parking. It also has a roof terrace and a hammam, but we didn't have time to use it. The hosts were very welcoming and we thank them very much for everything!

Really beautiful apartment, clean and spacious bathroom, lovely garden, delicious breakfast and lovely owners! Highly recommended! If I return to Kairouan, I will definitely stay here again!

If you are looking more for a cultural experience and living closer to the Kairouan community, Chama Maison Hotel is perhaps a better choice than a regular hotel. Chama is an extremely friendly, kind and knowledgeable host who is from the area. But her experience living in Europe also helps with most language issues. You are essentially sharing Chama's house with her, and she is quite accommodating. Chama provides breakfast, which I am sure she would adjust to fit specific tastes. The nicest thing is that you are living in a regular neighborhood amid the locals. I was sad that Chama's dog, Dana, passed away before my arrival, but I hope to return and meet Chama's new puppy one day. Be aware that Chama takes care of local cats, so you will find them crowded around her door at dinnertime. Also, take note that if you are tall, the room entrance and entry to the bathroom might give you a headache. 😉

Nastanitev Dar manena je v mestu Kairouan in nudi balkon ter brezplačen WiFi. Apartma ima teraso, več spalnic (2), dnevno sobo in dobro opremljeno majhno kuhinjo. Only stayed for one night but it was great experience! The apartment is typically tunisian and very close to the city-center. The great mosque is in walking distance as well as the medina.It has a great rooftop from where you can oversee the city. Everything you need is around...shops, cafes and the station louage! The owner is very hospitable, welcoming and open and will do everything to make your stay comfortable! Strongly recommended! I would stay there anytime again.
