A family-run hotel, the Diery is 1.5 km away from the centre of Terchova. It is set on the Janosikove Diery tourist route with waterfalls and narrow canyons. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Diery and will definitely be coming back. The room was comfortable and came with everything you needed, and even came with a nice balcony with a great view. The breakfast and dinner at the attached restaurant were both delicious.

A beautifully restored original building with new facilities in an exceptionally well-designed and impressive separate block. The quality of everything about the establishment is superb. The staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. The food is fresh, well-presented and interesting. We thought that it looked interesting in the photos when we booked but the reality was even better than we could have imagined.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The convenience of having a fantastic restaurant right in the hotel is a major plus. The breakfasts served here are a delightful combination of à la carte options, such as delicious omelets (the champignon ones were particularly excellent), and a smaller buffet featuring things like ham, cheese, and yogurt. They modestly refer to it as a 'continental breakfast.'

Location is amazing - right in the center, staff is very nice, the facilities match what I expected so good value for money, there's an AC which I used (some places don't have any..), it's clean (you can put a sign whenever you want and they clean the room perfectly), I also took breakfast for extra 5 euro and it was very nice (it's very cozy and home like :) they ask you how you want your eggs and prepare them for you :) will definitely come back in the future.

I traveled there to run Tatra Orava Trail which starts in the city of Tvrdošín. The start of the race is literally across the street from the hotel. There is Lidl supermarket next to the hotel which was convenient. The hotel was visibly after renovation and clean. The breakfast was nice with plenty options for everyone (coffee, milk, yoghurts, cereals, eggs, cheese, bread...) There is a good public transport (buses to mountains and train) for tourists traveling without a car.

The room itself was clean and spacious, and I was happily surprised to see a little kitchenette and equipment! And lastly, I thought it was very nice of the hotel to provide guide books for this region and Orava Castle, as well as local takeaway menus. It was very helpful!

We could see Orava Castle from our room and of course it was a short way to walk there or anywhere else in town. You can park your car easily in front of the building. Good breakfast. Ski pass discount, if you sleep here. Kind staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location, you can see the ski slopes and hills from the window and from the restaurant. It is an old hotel, but well renovated and maintained. Ski slopes are about 5 mins by car.

Beautiful accommodation, spacious rooms, very clean, great location (3 min walk to closest bus stop, 10 min walk to Terchova centrum bus stop), welcoming staff. Wellness was in great shape, easy to book (1 hour ahead), 4 different saunas, indoor and outdoor hot tub and some more. Grocery store 5 min walk, post office and hospital center nearby. 3 different playgrounds for kids, mini zoo with sheep, basketball/soccer court and more. Breakfast was amazing, huge and tasty selection and the hotel restaurant was generally great - delicious food and really good beer that they make in the brewery Vrsky there. If we go to Terchova again, we are definitely booking Drevenice resort.
