Hotel in Mathiveri
Captal Island Villa is located in Mathiveri, within a 1-minute walk of Casa Mia Maldives Beach and 200 yards of Stingray Beach. Captal Island Villa is really the best choice in Mathiveri! The staff is super helpful and kind, the hotel has recently renovated and it's cozy and clean. The rooms are spacious and the staff do the cleanings every day. The bed is comfortable and you can really have a good night of sleep. You can choose to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in here, and it's very good to have this option. From here you can reach easily and quickly the restaurants and shops and the two bikini beaches of the island. The staff will help you organize whatever trip or activity you want to do, snorkeling to the reef, seeing corals, mantas, turtles... We had the best time of our Maldives holiday in here, it's super recommended!
Hotel in Dhigurah
Located a few steps from Dhigurah North West Beach, Dhiguveli Breeze offers 3-star accommodations in Dhigurah and has a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant. EVERYTHING. The stuff is extremely polite and friendly, helped us a lot with every question. We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are simple but very very clean. The ISLAND IS GORGEOUS. We were choosing it among all and it is one of the rarest that has all plusses together: long sand bank, beautiful snorkeling, diving with the whale sharks (we saw them) and with mantas (we were lack of time to do both). The island has some constructions, but it doesn't bother much). To reach the island was easy coz everything was very organized. So, we are very happy with our choice. Went after this to the Resort (Centara Ras Fushi), was also good. The best is to combine local island and resort to fulfill the whole trip with great and various emotions. For Dhigura island I would make 3 days (we had only 2) and for resort 3 would be also enough.

Hotel in Rasdhoo
Facing the beachfront, Rasdu View Inn offers 5-star accommodations in Rasdhoo and has a garden, shared lounge and bar. The owner is just amazing. He made our stay to be as pleasant as possible. For the owner and the comfort we had , We would comme back gladly to this place. They made sure we arrive and left safe the island (they kept asking us our arrival and departure schedule),they made the rezervation for the speed boat when we left (a very useful thing because a lot of people didn't have room on the boat, just the ones with rezervations)The room and the whole property were very clean and organised, breackfast delicious, the bikini beach is not too far, plenty of shops to buy snacks and refreshments for your stay at the beach, restaurant are close by the property. What really amazed us was that everything is at a very reasonable price, so if you plan a budget vacation, this is the place to go. The people on the island are extremely friendly and helpful, and you never have the feeling that they are forcing you to buy anything, and you don't even have to bargain too much because they are giving you a huge discount if you buy more stuff. Rasdu View Inn, thank you for this amazing vacation.

Maafushi is wonderful! It's a great way for budget travellers to experience the Maldives. It was so fun meeting locals and celebrating Eid with them! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing couple of days.
Everything was good except the restaurant is so bad, so cheap, not even put a real seafood, I stayed one week never put a shrimp, unbelievable, we are in Maldives and no shrimp no fri fish, just so bad buffet, the menu is expensive if you wanna order special order, such as the pizza cost me $45 and it’s not even a real pizza, its just a cheese pie. They want to charge for everything, even i took half board free soft drinks its only during meal time, anything you’ll be charged, staff were friendly and easy, they are good, the only bad thing is the food, the buffet is so cheap.
If you want to discover how the local lives, or maybe you want to try their authentic food. Cheap accomodation in Maldives. Try to hop in Maafushi island for days! it’s worth a visit 😊😊😊
Male is offul dirty crouded city, 300000 citizens on a 5sq m! And thousends of scuters. If you fly to Maldives I recommend to not go to Male, if you have early or late flight it is better chise Hulhumale.
Great access to high quality dive sites. Also Maldives Passion divers were great and reasonably priced. Cheaper than diving costs at Arena Hotel diver shop. No alcohol on the island is something to expect. No crowds at this time of year. Expect the sandy roads to get flooded this time of year. The food was ok. Very similar items everywhere. We found most meats over cooked and dry. Food is a major expense (small container of ben and jerry’s was $3.65). And dinners are about $20 per person.
Probably the most commercialized island of the Maldives beside Malé. There is more restaurants, shops, and venues than in any other islands. More tourists and more options for water sports as well. The Beach is quite beautiful but easily crowded. Locals a super friendly. Coconuts are WAY overpriced though. (4$ a piece).
Great way to see the maldives without splashing out on a resort. The island offers a bikini beach, watersports including wakeboarding on turqouise sea, cycling, cafes, snorkelling excursions from $30pp and atms and a supermarket. A short 10-minute ferry to male for $2-ish if you feel like seeing the main residential hub of maldives. The perfect place to stay if you just want to snorkel and dive without staying at a resort. You will be limited to the reefs in the surrounding area, we saw dolphins, turtles, sharks, eagle rays and a lot of fish. Convenient bus from the airport.
Here is the best tips u need to know , maafushi island have nothing to do with the luxury of the maldives , it's small hotels in a local island , in the island the USA $ = 15 rufyaa but the real rate is 15.42 so if u have the chance to change ur $ to Rufyaa in Male that would be the right thing to do , the entry of the bikini beach is a bit stony so get a water shoes or just be careful, u must do water sports whatever diving , snorkeling or water ski just involve urself in water activities or u will be extremely bored If u want to experience the luxury there is a near by islands u can book 1 night or 2 in luxury resort and then come to maafushi
Amazing & picturesque local island of the Maldives, with lots of decent accommodation, some western influence with the surf school from Aus. Great food & although there is no alcohol, there are yatch's that dock off the island to serve alcohol to ex-pats that need a cold beer after a long hot day of surfing! Close to Male so easy to get a speed boat there for a weekend get away.
Its a popular town in Maldives to hang around in. There are lots of nice adventure opportunities that people love. It can get a little noisy at times though
Hulhumale
Really great service and THE FOOD was soo good! Breakfast was alright, but the dinner I ordered was delicious! Maybe some of the best during my 3 weeks stay in Maldives, and I've stayed on local islands, a safari liveaboard, and a resort island! The room felt a bit smaller than advertised (each room option shows a variety of rooms), but it was definitely spacious enough for me to do everything I needed to (a lot of packing sorting of 3 suitcases & boxes for an event). Wifi was great, and the service was wonderful, thank you!!
I have been to Maldives three times and this was the best. Not sure from where to start, we arrived in the morning, the warm welcome by the staff was sincere, we requested early check in and the villa was ready. The Resort is so clean, very green and the villa is very spacious and comfortable in all its small and big details. The smell of the villa puts you immediately into a relaxing mood. We were assigned Ouzz for our stay and he had definitely made it a special one with all his support and availability to address all our needs.
Hulhumale
Everything about my stay was exceptional; the room, view, food, neighborhood, amenities, & the all of the staff went above & beyond to make my stay comfortable & care free, & they actually appeared to enjoy their jobs. The property owner is very fortunate to have staff that truly understand the concept of providing customer service, something that is sorely lacking in so many places, even the USA. Thanks to them all I had a fabulous time in the Maldives, & will recommend your facility on social media.
North Male Atoll
That was our second time to have visit a Villa Hotels at Maldives. Sun Island was the destination last year and Paradise Island was it this year. We really got the way of experiences what we accepted here. It was not crowded. The ocean wes incredibly blue. Foods were delicious and variable. The treatments of Araamu Spa were the peak of our holiday. (we were there 3 times). We spent our time after dinner at the Hulhanghu Bar. We were really satisfied with the service of three waitress, waiter (photos of them attached)
I like the Host, he was very supportive and caring. He wait for us at the Harbor even though we did not ask him to do so. Also during check out he arranged a speed boat and sent his assistant with us in the boat to help us as the sea was little rough that time. understand he is a person with wide knowledge about Maldives and he speak very good English There is very nice beach close to the Hotel I don't remember the name. Another beach, Bikni beach also within walkable distance and was very good.
Gulhi
Just walking distance to the beautiful beach, the sea & beach is like privately owned by the hotel (but in fact it's belongs to the public). Nice sea breeze and sea weave's sound is like none stop melody, keep on changing but still maintaining certain pattern of melody. Friendly hotel staffs serving you from stepping in the hotel until leaving. Food is nice as I like Maldivian food very much. Hotel room is comfortable. Will definitely stay here when I come to Maldives again.
South Male Atoll
hotel was amazing all the stuff where great, a lot of variety for food and restaurants, I have been to Maldives three times this Hotel has the best food , the boat from the airport is very nice and comfortable only 20 min to resort which was very nice we don't have to wait for long time to reach the resort, the pike option was amazing you can ride them all day Long, Beach was very clean, view from the room was very nice, tv has varaity of the latest movies you can watch at night.
Breakfast was good; especially the coffee! Staff was always extra friendly and helpful. I got a chance to meet both the Hotel Manager and the General Manager. I expressed my gratitude for the warm reception I received as well as my appreciation for being allowed to check in early, after a 3 1/2 hour jet ferry boat ride back to Male'. I will definitely stay here again on my next vacation trip to the Maldives in the Fall.
The staff were very accommodating and polite! Getting the room with sea view is just so worth it! Waking up to that beach view out of your window is just stunning! Overall the experience was fantastic and great value for money, since this property being new and well looked after makes your stay one you’ll want to repeat if you’re coming to the Maldives and wanting to stay near the airport for a short stay or whatever reason.
A boutique heaven 40 mins away from Male by speedboat. Everything was perfect! This is not an over the top resort. If you like private and discreet luxury, then this hotel is for you. The island is small with a bustling marine life perfect for snorkeling. The food is delicious and is a well curated menu catering to all. This was our 5th trip to the Maldives and first time at COMO Cocoa Island. We will definitely be back!
Mahibadhoo
Genuinely friendly staff, answered all our questions, helped us explore the island, arranged a great whale shark snorkelling trip just for my family. Hotel food was the best we had in the Maldives. Hotel was very very clean (all the places we stayed in Maldives were clean). Island had an amazing house reef if you are a competent swimmer, also good for paddle boarding. Just brilliant place to go.
The property was beautiful, clean and well manage, Breakfast was good Nearest private bikani beach, nearest Indian food, hotel staff is very good and polite, the manager Remu very polite and friendly in nature, Hotel provide snorking and day tour facility it's good, if you are planning to Maldives please book this property in gulhi island it's nice...Thanks all to made my tour wonderful

Lot of Water sports facilities are available nearby. 20 minutes walk for ferry terminal. PCR testing lab is nearby. Got complimentary dinner on my last night before I left Maldives. Nice place to stay for family and lone travelers
We stayed at Arena Hotel in Maldives, we liked this hotel very much, the food, the soul of the beach, and Uwais, Mae, Niyaz who served us were very polite and responsible and we became friends. Thank you Arena Hotel. We intend to bring our children and relax here We liked everything very much, it is right next to the beach, the beach is very close, the atmosphere is very wonderful
One of the best Hotel in Hulhumale. Located in front of the Beach . Hotel staffs were very attentive, polite and professional. Hotel staff organised a free transfer on our arrival. The breakfast buffet was very nice . Rooms were very clean and quite . Recommended this place for long stays .Close to Airport . I definitely choose this place for my infuture visit to Maldives.
Just came back for our family vacation in Maldives, The stay at Oblu Xperience was Exceptional! Clean, neat and good food. The staff in specific was fabulous and very friendly! My daughter was exited by the welcoming she received at the restaurant from Shy ans Nia. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to families.

Overall, the Velana Beach Hotel in the Maldives offers a truly exceptional experience. And with its beachfront location, anyone can easily spend their days lounging on the sand, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the laid-back island vibe.
