Situated in Dickwella, a few steps from Dickwella Beach, Smeralda Beach Hotel Dikwella features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. We had a lovely time and would have stayed longer if the hotel was not fully booked. The rooms are clean and nice with fantastic views of the ocean. Bathroom are nicely designed with all the products you need. The staff are so nice and helpful with everything. We asked Natalia for some advice for snorkling spots and 4 minutes later she had send me a map via Snapchat with the best place to snorkle. Breakfast and food is super. Location is fab with an empty part of the beach.

In the mornings, the opportunity to witness the sunrise while spotting turtles swimming along the shoreline adds a magical touch to the experience. The breakfast spread is delightful, featuring a variety of fresh fruits, eggs, bread, and sweet potato with coconut. The staff's warmth and hospitality were evident when we arrived; they always assisted us, even greeting us with a refreshing king coconut drink. Conveniently located on the same road are numerous restaurants, just a 2-minute walk away, offering plenty of dining options for lunch and dinner. This place is a dream come true for surfing enthusiasts, with waves right in front of your room and additional surf spots just a 10-minute drive away.

Talalla beach is a very large and beautiful beach with very few people, and amazing views and warm water. It can be reached after a short walk through the property. There is a large variety of options on the menu with traditional Sri Lankan food and more.

It is directly located at the sea. They have an outdoor shower, free surf boards to use, beach launchers for hotel guests only and a restaurant/cafe where you can place your orders the whole day. An all you can eat breakfast was included and very good. They also offer gluten free options including gluten free bread. Our room was big and very clean. The bed was comfy and we had a good shower with a good water pressure. From our room we could always hear the waves, which was very nice. The host is very supportive! There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well as offerings for yoga and meditation.
