Situated in Pottuvil and with Whiskey Point reachable within 30 metres, Whisky Point Resortfeatures a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a garden. Whisky point is such a special place and I am so glad that I stayed here. The resort itself is beautiful and the perfect place to escape and disconnect. The staff are all amazing and very welcoming. As a solo female traveller I felt very at home and could have stayed much longer. The food is also delicious, from pasta to pizza and homemade banana bread! The first couple of days I was working remotely and I found it very comfortable with good wifi. After that I spent most of my time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the peaceful tranquility and good vibes. I 100% recommend.

What is not to like? We loved our stay at lucky bay so much we just kept booking extra nights! The location is perfect, right next to the beach and a short walk to the restaurants. Yet you’ll find a peaceful and quiet oasis once you walk into lucky bay! We loved the patio in front of the room with the hammock. The room itself is spacious and clean, as is the bathroom, with a good shower! The cherry on the cake is Mohammed, the owner. I think he is the most sweet and friendly person we’ve met! We couldn’t have wished for a better stay in Arugam bay!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Garden beach hotel is situated in Arugam bay. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. definitely the best place in Arugam bay. Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. the beautiful garden is very quiet and the rooms very comfortable and clean (with nice shower and working AC!). but the best part is definitely the owner Kayum (nickname crocodile), a special person, super helpful and very nice and the best smile. He helped me with everything and also organized great safaris in Yala and in the lagoon. the breakfast is delicious, the best avocado toast I had in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it just feels like home. Garden Beach Hotel is the place to be. Grazie Crocodile, you have a place in my heart!

Located in the heart of Arugam, Bay Vista offers modern and comfortable accommodation within a 15-minute walk to the famous Arugam Bay surfing area. We had the most amazing stay at Bay Vista, the pictures don’t do the hotel justice. We booked a room with a sea view for our two-night stay which was definitely worth it. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The atmosphere in the evening was amazing! We had spoken with the waiter earlier in the day and found out that they had caught a fresh Snapa which we order for the evening. On the second day we did Yoga on the terrace with Kelly which we couldn’t recommend more. We loved our Vin Yoga with Kelly, it isn’t often you get to do yoga in the sunset, listening to the waves. We can’t wait to come back to Arugam Bay and visit Bay Vista again.
