Hotell – Old Town i Lecce
Set in Lecce, less than 1 km from Sant' Oronzo Square, Arryvo Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent room, all around. Very fun and stylish, as was the whole facility. Location was perfect; secure back entrance opens directly into the historic center, and just minutes walk to attractions and food/drink. Our room had a balcony, and overlooked the road inside the walls. I would recommend a balcony room for this purpose. The balcony was large, with 2 chairs and a table. There are also pleasant looking outside lounge areas on each floor. Although the downstairs area includes a bar and restaurant, the soundproofing is exceptional; one night, we returned to the hotel and very loud EDM music was playing in the bar, but none of the sound leaked into our room. For the season, the room's climate control had been set to a minimum 20 degrees, which was too warm for me, so we asked the reception desk and she turned off the limiter to our room and we were able to adjust the minimum and maximum at will. (A cool thing to know!) Breakfast was ordered from a menu, with abundant choices, and served quickly. Bacon and eggs was on the daily menu, and it was a treat; at least 3 or 4 eggs, fluffily scrambled, with yummy toast and 3 strips of American-style bacon.

This property was ultra modern , clean and the staff were very polite they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and communicated very well through text to let you know everything that was going on. The spa facility is honestly the best spa I’ve ever been to and the fact that you get it all to your self is an added bonus. The bed room and beds are soooo… comfortable and plush. This hotel is a must stay . I accidentally forgot my stuff in the safe on my way to the airport , the hotel made sure to shuttle my documents and contents in the safe and because of this I did not miss my flight . I want to thank this hotel for the outstanding service .

Hotel Minerva is set in Otranto, 19 km from Roca and 47 km from Piazza Mazzini. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Nice small hotel within a walking distance from the old city. We were greeted personally by the owner on arrival. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. A bottle of water in the fridge was a nice extra. Parking is possible for free on the street (although it is very difficult to find a place). We eventually left our car at the paid parking (6 euro per 24 hours) nearby (5 minutes walk)

We really enjoyed staying at Masseria Samenti, the place is lovely, the main area is well curated, the swimming pool is something very special and the rooms are big and nice. There was also a little garden in front of our room, where the kinder could also play a bit. Barbara, the owner, was really nice with us, as we went a bit outside of the high season, she suggested where we could find some nice open restaurants and she was also nice with the kids, giving them a little ball to play, which they could keep it as a present. Breakfast was also very good, as were outside of high season, we were served at the table (I guess during high season there is a buffet, but I am not sure) and it was all very fresh (fruit, croissants, bread, jams, pan cakes, ham, cheese, coffee, tee, etc..). It's also very close to the see, we just walked there a couple of time, as the weather was not allowing to swim (but we could not resist to use the swimming pool..:). All good, really nice place

This is definitely one of the best places to stay in Gallipoli. The breakfast was great. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the rooms are incredibly comfortable, with good wifi and giant baths. You can walk anywhere in the city very comfortably. There's parking you can book if you want it (especially helpful during the busy summer months). There's a wonderful cafe downstairs too, which is open all day and has free wifi.
