My friend and I stayed at Hotel Aiguille Noire while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel has been in the same family for four generations, which results in a great deal of care and effort. Our check in was easy, our room was spacious and comfortable (and even had a balcony), and the front lawn was perfect for an afternoon drink after hiking all day. Every person we encountered was kind and generous with their time. One of the owners even called a refuge for my friend and I to ensure we had a place to stay the next night on our trek. We feel so lucky that we were able to spend some time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!

I actually felt like a « guest » when I arrived because of the warm welcome. In the morning the owner went out of her way to make me an emergency to go breakfast. The room was sparkling clean and huge by European standards and well and tastefully appointed. Just a ten minute walk from everything. I hope to stay there again. I just parked my car outside of the hotel, so easy.

Hotel Triolet is superbly located. 2 mins walk to the primary lift up to the Courmayeur skifield. Supermarket two doors away and easy flat walk to the main pedestrian shopping and dining street. Wow everything. The place is spotless. You can see they put a lot of thought to every detail. The little box with the herd next to the bed is great. The staff is helpful and nice. They have deals with restaurants nearby. The location is a short bus driver from the center. Decent price, and amazing breakfast! Just go.

Breakfast was excellent and the main bar was warm and friendly. Possibly a few more regular beer options would have been good, but on the whole all very good. The swimming pool and sauna was great fun and very useful after a day skiing. To my eternal shame as an Englishman I could only speak English, but the reception staff in particular were happy to speak in English and they never made me fee bad about it !! Great recruitment policy clearly !!

Very nice hotel in a beautiful area outside the more busy spots which i consider a huge plus. This area isnt full of backpackers and is far more relaxed. The sound of the rushing water behind the hotel is very soothing. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a good selection and adds value to the stay.
