We were made to feel so welcome by the staff at reception, their hospitality and helpfulness is outstanding, going the extra mile to help us out with public transport, where to find delicatessen in the neighbourhood etc. We forgot a driving license in the room after we checked out and they called us immediately to send it to us.

The hotel and location is really very nice. The room was exceptional. Everyone from the staff (from owners via receptionists to night guards) were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the garden was more than nice. The little town - SANTARCANGELO DI ROMAGNA (RN) - where Il Villino is situated is also a feast. If I would have to explain the term "a hidden gem" to someone, I would tell them about Il Villino hotel & spa.
