The hostess was very frendly and helpful. We also had a very large balcony with a great view. Breakfast was awesome, the outside seating was beautiful with a great view of the water.

TL/DR: the staff was the friendliest I have ever seen. Everything was sparkling clean. The food was great. The all inclusive package is a must have Now a more detailed review: We made a huge mistake by NOT getting the all inclusive pack, and had to go out every day for lunch or dinner. There's a few restaurants within a 15/20 minutes walk, but under a scorching sun that was not worth it. The paid/specialties restaurants in the hotel are too fancy, too expensive and often had to be reserved in advance, so that was not an option. The only one we went to was the one by the beach. The staff was always friendly. Even under a 40/110 degree heat everybody was happy to be there. That made an experience much more agreeable in the entire hotel. At night there would be entertainment in two places. Usually a more cruise ship like dancing or a band playing. And by the pool there would be a more laid back band playing. The whole place felt vibrant and has a 100% family vibe to It. Lots of kids playing in all places. The hotel has a convenience store with basically everything you need. It runs from 8 to 10 every day, and the staff was also super friendly. We would gladly be back, but now with the all inclusive package.

Viesnīca būvēta1981.gadā, uz to ved šaurs asfalta ceļš, kādu Kretā daudz. Var nokļūt ar automašīnu, bet tālu no Plakisas,nav savas pludmales, ļoti skaisti skati klinšu tuvumā. Baseini tiek tīrīti, tajos jūras ūdens. Brokastis labas, bet daudzi ēdieni jau 8 no rīta auksti, kafija no automāta negaršīga, Daži ēdieni garšīgi, izskatās, ka personālam darba daudz un nogurst. Vienu reizi gulta bija uzklāta ļoti dīvaini.

Excelent staff, amazing food (both breakfast and dinner), perfect cleaning.

We chose this resort because it had a wonderful sandy beach area for swimming and an included water park for the kids. Because the water park is private to the resort, the lines were very short even during our peak season visit, so each day my kids had their fill within 1.5 hours, which allowed us to enjoy the beach and pools. Since the location is very remote, the all-inclusive package/meals made everything so easy. We found the food to have lots of variety and great quality. Our room was at the very back of the resort, next to the water park, but we still had sweeping sea views, and everything on the property was kept beautifully clean at times.

Nice location. Everyone was super nice. Starting from the owner Mr. Michalis, The front desk crew Nikos and Dimitris and Yiannis the driver. I left Regina last cause she was phenomenal. Her demeanor and polite attitude was above and beyond. Good rooms. Excellent food and plenty of choices and the wait stuff at the restaurant and bar all were fantastic. This is a great establishment. So much excellence. Women run this hotel and you can tell because there is such great hospitality and really make you feel at home. hotel rooms exceptionally clean! the only thing was that the bed throw isn’t washed after every visitor as it wasn’t clean when I arrived and had stains and hair so that can be fixed in their cleaning regime. i just took it off the end of the bed and never used it. but EVERYTHING else was very very very clean and I was happy and at peace. bed was also comfy and sheets were comfy. shower was nice size and nice and hot and good pressure. i had a double inland view room. this means the room faces the street and that can be noisy however everything is so great you can’t even complain. I’ll come again and book a sea view ☺️ as that was the only room available when I booked staff some of the male staff could use a little more training I think. it may sound like a weird thing to say but all the female staff were EXCELLENT, friendly welcoming happy, helpful, attentive. went out of their way to make my experience a great one. manager is great 💛. the girl with beautiful curly hair was amazing too. and the lady in the restaurant maybe manager? she was very attentive to me and was great! the extra mile it was my birthday and I was on my own. i was given a glass of sparkling wine, the staff wrote happy birthday in flowers on my bedroom floor AND put they put balloons in the room whilst I was having dinner. what a surprise and a gift. so generous and so kind! i was in tears! also I had a massage and they also gave me gifts as it was my birthday! the massage! INCREDIBLE. Marina the masseuse wow she is the best that I’ve had and I have literally had so many massages all over the world and that was the best. she is so kind so personable, I had the Cretan massage and the deep tissue massage with hamman and body scrub. perfection! if you’re a masseuse you can learn from her.

Big pool, big rooms, very clean, good service, helpful staff, great choice of food, tasty coffee and ice-cream, good location: a beach, bus stops, car rentals, excursion organisers and shops nearby.

renovated , great value for the price . breakfast was great , big variety , the pool is lovely. the rooms are specious , modern design , clean . if travelling to Bali this is the hotel to stay at

Breakfast and dinner are excellent! Exceeded expectations. Was allowed late checkout free of charge to 5pm.

We had a very enjoyable time at Villa Maris! Communication with our wonderful host Christina was exceptional - advice on local restaurants and places to visit always forthcoming and superb. The villa is well furnished and has a nice little swimming pool. It's a great base to explore beaches or the mountains. What made our stay extra special were the gifts on arrival, wine and raki made by Christina's father, and other food gifts throughout our stay; thoroughly enchanting!

The breakfast was amazing! The people are very very welcoming and nice! Dimitris (one of the employees) is very kind and helps the best way possible. In addition the cleaning ladies (Fami and Magda) also did a great job. They kept our room clean even though we brought home sand from the beach every day! The room was nice and spacious. We had about 10 minutes by foot until the start of the old town. Beach was just across the road with very nice cocktails! Velvet touch definitely a must try!:) you for sure won‘t regret staying here.
