Breakfast was served by the open fire. Lots of fresh quality ingredients and great portions to set you up for the day. Room had lots of character and the separate lounge area was great to unwind after a busy day!

Just a mile from Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, this luxury boutique hotel offers home-cooked food and free Wi-Fi. Overall, everything was perfect. The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. Traditional meets Modern styling, lovely food and great service. Location was awesome, the perfect place to get away to.

Linthwaite House is situated on a hilltop overlooking Windermere, making it the perfect base from which to explore the scenic surroundings. No any doubt to rate this hotel for 10 of 10.

Overlooking Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes, the Craig Manor is 5 minute walk from Bowness. The rooms have modern decor, en suite bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. I like everything! The hotel was modern and very clean. The room is quite small but was expected, since we were just staying for a night. I felt very lucky that we got the room thats facing the lake windermere. There a lot of choices for the breakfast well, we had a very filling breakfast. Even the breakfast place had a nice view of the lake! Location is 10/10 as well, we drove a car, but we parked in hotel first then walk to town because it was just a 5-10 walk to the center.
