The room is absolutely lovely. They provided many extras. I had Prosecco and an IPA waiting for me when I arrived. The bed is fabulous. The shower was good water pressure and very warm. The linens were very plush and towels huge. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided. I ate dinner there and had a wonderful dining experience. Andrew fixed me a bag of food items for the early departure since I would miss breakfast. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I would caution that if you’re a very light sleeper, there are some sounds that might wake you. The cars leaving might be the loudest but they are gone, but I was there when a very large dinner party was happening. I will definitely go there again. It was only a 10 minute drive (easy drive for an American) back to the car rental return. Then a bus to the airport.

Stayed here to catch an early morning flight from Bristol. Lovely location for woodland walks, a game of tennis, a swim, spa, decent food and coming back to an old English style comfy room.

Centrally located in North Somerset and within 20 minutes from Bristol, Weston super mare, Clevedon, Cheddar Caves and Wells. The property was lovely and comfortable and we had the best few nights of sleep in the super comfy bed. We also had a very tasty breakfast from the very friendly owner.

Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

It is close to the gorge and within walking distance of a number of good restaurants. Our room was well decorated and had a nice big window overlooking the pool and gorgeous landscaping. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Everyone was welcoming and great to work with.

Explained breakfast and our room. We had booked as just a room for the night to be near cheddar gorge. But we walked into Axebridge and discovered it's a proper cute medieval town. Nice pub the Lamb Inn. The walk takes you through a muddy field to avoid walking on the road, so you get muddy shoes. The BnB was great, basic but fairly large family room with 3 beds, Shower room was standard. We wanted for nothing. The biscuits and coffee and tea were appreciated after a long days travel. Breakfast was great. Individual servings in reusable glass bottles for cereals and drinks. Great idea. Home made jams and bread. And a full cooked breakfast!! Thanks
