Situated on the edge of a forest and surrounded by mountains, Naturhotel Schloss Kassegg is set in a historic castle from the end of the 19th century in Sankt Gallen. The castle looks amazing from the outside. The location is perfect for those who are looking for a remote, romantic weekend getaway in Alpine valley and wish to wake up with the view of mountain peaks. Taking a morning fall walk on the surrounding grounds and in the forest was thrilling. The view from the window was spectacular.

Amazing castle on a hill between the snow covered mountains. Our room was not the biggest but got everything se needed and the beds were pretty comfy. Buffet style breakfast was also good.

Just 50 metres from Admont Abbey, Hotel die Traube is located in the centre of Admont. Dating from 1537, it was the first building on the town’s main square. Excellent location, cosy accomodation in spacy room and very friendly staff. Great Hungarian gulasz for dinner and very good breakfast.
