Located 250 metres from the Hochkar Ski Area, JUFA Hotel Hochkar offers a spa area with a sauna, and a steam bath, a restaurant, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Location was great, just steps from the ski slopes and lifts. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices.

Ski-to-door access is provided on-site at JoSchi Almhütte Hochkar, which is located in Göstling an der Ybbs, just 100 metres away from Hochkar Vorgipfel and a 2-minute walk away from 4er Sessellift...

Amazing place, beautiful cottage, peace, in the middle of nature. I can only recommend. Only 12 minutes by car to the nearby ski area. We will definitely be happy to return to this place.

Hotelul Fahrnberger este situat la poalele muntelui Hochkar, în mijlocul unui peisaj pitoresc. We have already visited the region several times but without having an accommodation there. This time we chose a hotel just in the valley, where all interesting places are located around within 10 km. We were attracted by the Hochkar mountain and both the Wasserlochklamm and the Gams bei Hieflau waterfalls. The Fahrnberger hotel is a nice building already from outside and a reasonably big parking is located in front of the building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, although we do not speak German (they also fluently speak English). We were accommodated in a nice, separate building near the main hotel building. We like the style how the hotel is equipped: it is a local Austrian natural design but providing the maximum comfort. We felt like we were on our honeymoon there. In the evening we enjoyed a great Riesling white wine in the hotel lounge. The four poster bed, located in our big and amazing room, provided a very pleasant environment in the night. The bathroom with a shower was also big and comfortable. The toilet was in a separate room. In the morning we have a nice mountain view from the window of our room. The breakfast was very tasty and we also enjoyed sitting places in front of the hotel to absorb the atmosphere of the Alps mountains. We left the hotel totally satisfied and the price for the accommodation seems to us very adequate. For sure, we plan to return there in the future.

Surrounded by the Göstling Alps, the family-run Alpenhotel Ensmann is located at the foot of the Hochkar Mountain in the southwestern part of Lower Austria. Very friendly staff towards kids. There is also a small play-corner near the restaurant. Good sauna.

Situated in Lassing in the Lower Austria Region, 31 km from Mariazell, Lassingbauer boasts a barbecue and ski storage space. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Great location for hiking. Very nice and friendly owners
