Everything is perfectly designed and combined with the modern age. The staff is very kind, very professional, and I would especially single out Anja, Romano and Timo from the reception, Zoran from the Spa center and the younger guy from the restaurant ( during breakfast time). We are definitely coming again in January.

Stay at Villa Excelsior allows you to experience the atmosphere of a mountain resort from belle epoque with all modern comforts (three different saunas, outdoor pool, newly renovated bathrooms). Christof, the owner, and his staff and family are friendly and helpful, breakfasts are amazing. We loved how much attention is paid to little details, like engraved coffee pots and beautiful wooden furniture.

I loved how huge the property was, including the long walk down scenic hallways especially to the fitness areas. The view from the room was incredible with the huge windows opening up to the mountains. The sauna and pool areas were absolutely fanastic. Right in the middle of Bad Gastein just up the street from the waterfall too.

The place was very classy. OMG, the spa! It was massive and so amazing! Breakfasts and dinners were full on! The salad bar is worthy of poems. The location is really good, it wasn’t too far from the ski lift.

The hotel was exceptional, very friendly staff on reception and restaurant (respect to Toma for patience and diligence), perfect location in the center of the city, tunnel to AlpenTherme, quite short but picturescue way to the Lift. The only point, hb might be a bit more delicious, but in general both breakfasts and dinners were fine. I hope to come back once!

The hosts were very friendly. I also enjoyed the breakfast a lot, there was great variety and some tasty Austrian dishes were available. The rooms were cleaned daily, beds were left orderly. We could also check in at a late time, which was very nice given our travel time.

Hotel is located very close to ski lift (6-7 minutes by foot or just 2 minutes by local village bus which goes every 15 minutes), they provide rich breakfast with real Italian coffee, sauna and infrared cabin is included in accommodation rate which gives full relaxation after skiing. Modern and stylish design of the rooms and hotel in light colours with bright accents let to feel energised and powerful. Helpful and charming personnel ready to assist with every quest requests.
