Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam - Amstel is a beautiful 4-star hotel in Amsterdam with a swimming pool, fitness, spa and wellness center. We had a wonderful stay here! They went above and beyond to make sure that our time in Amsterdam was everything we could have hoped for. The staff were very friendly and had lots of suggestions and tips for getting around, things to see and do. The hotel is a mere 3 minute walk to the metro. The outdoor pool and spa were amazing and we enjoyed unwinding after our days of exploring. The breakfast buffet was a hit for my 6 year old and the entire hotel experience was very family friendly. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and book here again.

Located in the Oost district in Amsterdam, 2.4 km from Carre Theatre, Hotel V Fizeaustraat features a sun terrace and views of the city. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Good location conveniently near the center of city. Large modern room with nice decoration, view and bathroom, but shower was all over the place. The king bed was two twin mattresses joined together so that was a bit surprising. I liked the warm reception, careful attentiveness and professionality of the staff. Welcome drink was nice but limited to wine beer or coffee. The in-house restaurant was very good.
