Set in the Borgo Panigale district, Villa Aretusi once belonged to Cesare Aretusi, late-Renaissance painter from Bologna. The city centre and Guglielmo Marconi Airport are 10 minutes' drive away. You would never know this was not in the country. Beautiful but very old place that belonged to a painter 400 years ago. Expect old and you are ok! Restaurant was amazing and they had 2 to choose from. Staff was great! Prettiest bird song we’ve ever heard.

Located just 5 minutes’ drive from Bologna Airport, Hotel Amadeus offers large rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and an LCD satellite TV. Parking is free. The staff was very helpful and polite. We arrived from the airport at 1 am but check in went smoothly. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The hotel is 7-8 min by car away from the airport.

Offering inner courtyard views and a garden, Stop Over BLQ is set in the Borgo Panigale district of Bologna, 4.5 km from Saint Peter's Cathedral and 6.6 km from MAMbo. We just stayed 1 night, because we wanted to stay close to the airport for our flight the next day. The walk to the airport was only 15 minutes, which was perfect. The room was basic, but it was perfect for just 1 night and you dont need anything more. The bed was lovely, the bathroom was beautiful with small details we really liked, and it was also nice to have some little snacks in the room. We would defenitly recommend it, and for sure we would come back if we have a flight from BLQ again.
