Hotel Villa Colonial is located in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic centre, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and a charming patio. The air-conditioned rooms include cable TV. A must in Santo Domingo. The property is absolutely without a fault, with clean and cozy rooms. We were in the room with the terrace overlooking the street, and loved it there. But even more important than the property itself is the staff! Everyone we had any interactions with was extremely kind and helpful. And Ramon was a perfect host, attending to us the whole stay. It's safe to say he goes above and beyond for his guests. From arranging the transfer from the airport, through the welcome package in the room, accommodating breakfast requests, to helping us with renting a car. If we are ever back in Santo Domingo, we have no doubt about coming back here!

Located in the heart of the first city of America, this hotel offers beautiful architecture and balconies with the characteristic ironwork of the 19th century. Very beautiful hotel. The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was close to the main shopping street and the rooftop bar was a very nice touch. As 2 female travellers we felt safe however we didn’t go out in the night.
