When we arrived we were greeted by a dog bed, bowl and biscuits in our room when was a lovely addition for our dog. The room was clean and very comfortable with tasteful decoration. The staff extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast delicious. We didn't have time to try the pool but it looked very inviting. There was even an electric car charger in the car park so overall a brilliant stay.
Great location as just a few minutes from the port but If you struggle walking it is quite steep but there is car access. The port is very picturesque with many good restaurants, views are stunning. Portofino is an hours walk for those that like hiking but is also served by a bus and ferry.

We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much.
We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much. It was a delightful town by the beach. There are lots of different places to eat. There is an absolutely delightful walk to Portofino along the coast. In the other direction there is also a lovely walk to Rapallo.

This city is a must visit.
This city is a must visit. The city itself has plenty to offer, from shops to an array of great seafood restaurants. Awesome waterfront and the perfect connection, in whichever way suits you, on foot, by bus or ferry, to Portofino...and we did try all three.

I would have rather stayed in Santa Margarita than in Cinque Terra. CT was nice but SM was larger, the feel was more holiday Mediterranean style, more restaurants, shops... a great base to stay and then take the train or ferries down to CT

The staff was nice, rooms standard size for italy but well organzied, clean and comfortable. The locations is awesome, the upper rooms with balconies are very great with beautiful views. If you have a car, you may find free parking on the street but they have a automatic underground car parking, its pretty cool and cost $20/night. The have a nice rooftop terrace, small with a cool dipping pool. Beach front loungers/umbreallas, breakfast great, outside seating. We had drinks outside. It was all great. Small elevators. :(
The property is very well looked after. The hotel a the best location, overlooking Santa Margherita and the very tip of Portofino. The interior of the the hotel is decorated with fine antiques, very tasteful.
The staff is most helpful and friendly. Great service experienced at the reception, the housekeeping is doing a fabulous job. And the kitchen, the menu, is just outstanding and the manger and all the staff at the restaurant is just what you expect at a 5 star hotel - I had another nice, very nice stay. Thank you all.
I love the location as it is between Santa Margherita and Portofino. The hotel was elegant and cute. Small and clean decent rooms. Nice water pressure (I love the shower). Outside the hotel is a bus stop to portofino, there is also a beach and two more public access beaches you can enjoy. Restaurants available outside the hotel a bit pricey but they have excellent service and food were superb. (I recommend Langosteria) Overall I am happy with my stay, such kind and acoommodating staff.
The Hotel has been refarbished recently in a very cozy boutique hotel style!!! The people running the place were extremely helpful and kind and were wiling to help us with everything!! They even tried to reserve a table for dinner in the nearby Portofino!! They book us Taxi to get there and return... And the location of the Hotel was ideally for exploring one of the busiest areas of Italy in August!!!! Thank you for everything!!!
This hotel is beautiful and has spectacular views, it has a beach access and the most special thing is its staff! They are beyond and above, the quality of their service in my opinion deserves 5 stars. They have assisted us in every way and are very warm and polite, it felt like our home during our stay in Ligure. Not to mention their indoor warm pool! One of the best hotels ever! Shoutout to the staff and the manager. :)
The property and the room were charming, as was Fede, our host, who brought us Sangria when we arrived and fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning, from the orange tree in the beautiful garden surrounding the property. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Loved the reupholstered Victorian bed. Santa Margherita Ligure is a lovely seaside town offering short, passenger boat rides to Portofino and Cinqueterra.
This is THE BEST place we have stayed in Italy during our trip (and it was 10 different places). All the small details and decor elements makes it feel really cozy. The host Jessica is SUPER nice and provided us everything we needed. The small terace on the top of the roof is something special. You just want to spend all late nigth there. Super private super cozy.
Very convenient location only about 5-10 mins walk from Santa Margherita centre
Beautiful view especially from the terrace when you're having breakfast
Hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful
Found it amazing to be able to rent two beach sun beds via the hotel at Bagni Sirena (in the beginning of August when it is peak holiday season)
Great location and nice boutique hotel. It was quiet for the most part - it’s on a side street. It’s about a 10 min downhill walk from the train station. We took a taxi back, which was 20 euro. It was an enjoyable 6 min walk to the port.
A simple room with a large shower.
David Sofrà - best hotel I’ve stayed in on the Italian or French Riviera’s. It has old world charm and class, don’t bother eating dinner elsewhere in Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Camogli or Portfino. I did not want to leave and have already rebooked my stay.
Best Appartement in Santa Margherita! The staff is incredible and really helpful in every situation. Th Villa 1900 is a very comfortable house with cosy and well designed appartements. Very very clean! The breakfast is extraordinary. We'll come back.
The property I’ve been newly renovated, and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. Also I stayed at other properties and I thought this hotel has the best rooftop pool.
Great hotel in the Heart of Santa Margherita. Very Helpful And friendly staff! We arrived in the morning And they managed to accomodate Us much earlier than 2 pm. highly recommend to everyone.
One of the best 5 stars hotels I ever visited and the best by far in whole Europe in the Facilities, Staff kindness, Services and even breakfast. So in my opinion it’s totally worth the price
True Italian experience, beautiful Hosts and great comfortable apartment. Would stay here again next time we come to Italy. Loved Santa Margerita more than Portifino.
