We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Asty. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is varied. Special requests were taken into account at any time. The service and helpfulness of Mike and his son Railey are top. Secure hotel parking is also included. The old town of Nicosia can be easily reached on foot or by bus. We would book the Asty Hotel again at any time.

Nicosia's old town is fascinating and safe to walk around day and night.
Nicosia also has an excellent cheap bus service.
Locals are friendly and helpful if you need directions. Many Cypriots speak English.
And of course the Greek Cypriot food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Besides, almost always great weather, very nice people, and delicious food, 1 - to 2 days in Nicosia is enough to walk around and check out the sightseeing. I recommend passing through the border to the Turkish side and shopping a bit in the Turkish Bazar (the ladies will like POSH Handbags & Shoes shop) and eating at the local restaurants. Have a Turkish coffee.

Nicosia is a very unique and historic City.
Nicosia is a very unique and historic City. Famously it is still a divided city and it is possible to visit Northern Nicosia which is under Turkish Occupation since the 1970s.
There are many very interesting and fairly unique sites to visit on both sides of the border.
Nicosia is both a very modern city and has also a very old and picturesque sector. The fact that it has a patrolled border, the Green Line, running through it makes it a very memorable experience.
There are many restaurants and tavernas of variable quality in the town. Sadly there are way too many fast food outlets, but there are also some traditional tavernas serving fresh local delicacies.
However my main criticism would be, as a vegan, I found it very difficult to find places that catered for me.

The southern city center is very small--you can easily walk from end to end multiple times in a day of sightseeing--but it is a pleasant mix of developed tourist streets, colorful quaint residential streets, abandoned buildings and weird more or less closed shops with display windows full of junk. The center is worth a day. A second day is best spent on the Turkish side or in nature at the city outskirts.

I loved and always visit Nicosia both myself and my wife visited 2 or 3 times per year I love the weather and the kind people , lots of attraction and lots of restaurants with fine food , fantastic place especially in December time , Nicola is easy to move around
I found this place because I was looking for somewhere close to Nicosia hospital where my daughter was a patient. It was less than a 5 minute drive to the hospital and a home from home experience. It is neither glamorous nor luxurious however, it is clean, very well equipped, functional and comfortable. The host cannot do enough for you and it is excellent value for money. Ideal for anyone needing to be close to the hospital for work or personal reasons.
Great first floor studio flat, in city centre and close to old town, ledra Street, and municipal theatre.
Nicely decorated and furnished.
Nice powerful walk in shower in bathroom.
Very comfortable double bed.
WhatsApp chat used with agents for all queries/problems was helpful, with useful info and video guides sent to me prior to stay.
Good working air con with cool or fan function was welcomed.
Charming and cozy little house in the heart of nicosia. It has everything you need. wifi works perfectly. We chose it mostly for the location. Close to Famagusta gate and walking distance from most places in the city centre. Very quite neighborhood-easy to find parking space around. You really get the traditional nicosia old-town vibe. We loved the little courtyard.
-It's a small cozy clean business hotel, big simple modern room and balcony
-Nice helpful staff
- the breakfast is tasty (La carte-no buffet)
- I liked the mobile phone integrated with hotel app system
-The location is about 6 minutes from the old town by car and 10 minutes to the check point of the north part
-Nespresso machine, but kettle would be nice also
Lovely property, very clean , modern building and excellent parking. Breakfast choice very good and delivered fresh and hot to your table. Not far from city centre , 8 euro taxi to Leda street. You don’t need to be right in the centre of town to be close to the action. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely staff and very helpful.
Everything literally. This is going to be my bedt hotel choice in Cyprus. I am travelling to 2-3 places per month (in Europe) and it is the first time that I rate a hotel with 10 in everything!
A real 5-star hotel with excellent service , superb nreakfast, very nice rooms, great location and a very nice spa and gym.
Modern, well equipped and very clean apartment in the heart of Nicosia, situated on the most beautiful street from the business center. Shopping centers, restaurants all around, with parking places nearby. The communication with the host was excellent. Thanks George for a lovely stay.
the hotel is few minutes walk from.the turkish side, near many shops and restaurants.
breakfast was o.k but the variety was small
staff were very friendly, especially the woman that was in the reception on the afternoon-night shift that tried to do her best to solve problems
Good budget hotel in the centre of Nicosia, overlooking the Zaha Hadid designed public gardens in the moat beneath the Venetian city walls. Close to the bus station. No breakfast provided but close to the many restaurants and cafes of the old town. Helpful staff.
The location of the hotel is excellent, 2 min walk to Ledra street and just in the front of the Central Bus Station. The property is really clean and the staff really friendly. Not noise but well traffic in Cyprus ... I would recommend anyone to book at Delphi.
Fantastic stay ! I hidden gem in cyprus outside hectic Nicosia ! Spa treatments were calming and soothing experiences - food was spectacular and staff and premises were outstanding! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Cyprus !
The hotel is in a perfect position close to Ledras Street, the green line, and the pedestrian crossing into Northern Cyprus, the room had everything we needed and was very clean, and early check in was appreciated.
hotel is nice it has full kitchen facilities and fit the work needs I had. Staff is excellent and will recommend places to seed and eat. I enjoyed my trip and will be back here for future trips
The location was a bit far from the city centre, about a 15 minute walk, but in a beautiful neighborhood. WiFi was OK, and there was a nice big kitchen. The House itself is very unique.
The Hotel was excellent, exactly what we needed. It was only a very short stay but as we travel to Cyprus on a regular basis for work and are here sometimes for a week at a time.
