This is additional review to my orginal review. I want to emphasis on the good behaviour of the working stuff. I recall I made a comment about the egg making. They took my comment seriously and the chef made me the egg himself gor the rest of my stay, the way i like :)

The breakfast was nicer than I expected, sufficient and delicious. The rooms were super clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a very positive experience.

Be cautious; there may be a recurring issue with water supply that the owner is aware of but fails to disclose until after check-in. This becomes evident when you find 5 liters of water in the room. Additionally, sound insulation is lacking, as thin doors allow noise from the hallway to easily penetrate into the room, affecting privacy. WiFi is bad. It's impossible to rely on it. Despite these drawbacks, the room is clean and cozy, making the price reasonable.

Lovely hosts and great little studio with tons of windows and huge private raised balcony. A shared kitchen and living space is across the hall. It was right on a main road, so a great choice for us as we were coming from the South and headed to Tunis. It made for a good one night stay.

Sfax is a wonderful city. If you have time and can get to the good restaurants and shops. Tonton food place is terrific and walking distance. The traffic is a little bit on the busy side but after all it is a business / working city so it’s expected ( just be careful ). Also if you are a animal lover and just want to kill some
time or take children there is a zoo close by. There are a lot of make up shops and some very nice clothing shops I would recommend Zen in particular for clothing & happiness for make up. However if you go into the old town there are even better.
There is a beach which is called casino where you can get a really nice view with a drink and some snacks in the evening.
