Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. Everything was clean, the room is newly furnished and the bathroom is large with a walk-in shower. For a pit-stop in order to visit this lovely town, or on the road to the famous Transfăgărășan road, this accomodation worth stopping for sure. Our thanks are addressed again to the lady who owns it, we'll surely come back 😊
