A breathtakingly beautiful property , with attention to minute detail with a caring and friendly team that delivered an outstanding experience . The cuisine and service at the award winning Teracu restaurant on the property was simply amazing showcasing the best ingredients in a hearty but yet beautifully presented plates. Jorge, Francisca , Rafael, Maura and Alexandra were spontaneously warm and hospitable and made the Douro valley stay one of the most memorable highlights of our two and a half week trip to Portugal. Each of them were experts in their respective fields and went out of their way to make it a very special and delightful experience for us.We will surely visit this property again and recommend it to all our friends and family.. Pedro was a superb host. Very friendly and very helpful. The casa we stayed in was homey and authentic, and nicely nestled in the hillside. Really enjoyed Pinhao and its beautiful surroundings.

With mountain views, Dois Lagares House is situated in Pinhão and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area.

Staff could not have done more to make us feel more welcome, they helped us book taxi’s and had great recommendations to enjoy the amazing location. Beautiful view, and the main property was full of character. Whilst remote, it’s only a 10/15 minute drive to Pinhao or you can walk the local trails to get there. Breakfast and dinner is served in the dining room on one big table with other guests which might not be for everyone but we enjoyed along with the great food.
