We loved everything about our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable - both my sister and I had the best night sleep we've had in ages. The room was clean and quiet, with blackout curtains for sleeping and good wifi ... it had everything we could need or want. The robes and complimentary port were very nice touches. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying for both of us (one of us is a vegetarian, the other is not). The property itself is gorgeous. It happened to be a little too cold out to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and recommended some beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants for us to check out. Next time I'm back in this area I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.
The Sudoeste Guest House has 4 rooms with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV, patio and shared kitchen. It also has a T0 apartment with a terrace and overlooking the River Seixe and Montes de Odeceixe.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
The "Alojamento Local" is a fully equipped flat with kitchen, living room, nice bedroom. Located in the pittoresque little town Odeceixe, it is perfectly located for an overnight stop (or two) when hiking the Fishermen's Trail, as we did. Since the apartment is fully functional, it could even be the spot for a more extended holiday. Initial contact with Lina, the owner, was nice and fool-proof. We enjoyed our stay very much.
This hotel is the the most beautiful building in town. Brand new, spotless hotel and lovely rooms, wonderful breakfast. Fernando greeted us with a welcome drink and helped with whatever we needed. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard as well. The town is charming and we had no problem parking nearby. We wished we could have stayed longer. We visited one stunning beach after another in the area. Highly recommend!
truly relaxing place, surrounded by nature but equipped with every necessary comfort. Splendid park with swimming pool, all without exaggerations or useless luxuries, we are between the sea and the countryside. Perfect for those who love tranquility, nature but also comfort. A few minutes from Odeceixe beach, a divine sight. Very friendly and helpful managers. Good breakfast. All very clean and pleasant.
Close to an exceptional beach. Super nice people run it. The restaurant is especially tasty and included breakfast was a treat. Rooms included shampoo and soap and my room was available and they allowed me to check in a little early, which was very helpful. For the location, staff, and super onsite restaurant, it is definitely a great place to stay.
Super cosy & well located in a cute village.
Our room was like a mini apartment, wood floor & well decorated, we felt like home.
You can have breakfast in the deli downstairs that belongs to the guesthouse (very good & made with love ;)))
The owners are very welcoming and gave us good tips for restaurants & bars & activities around
Super nice hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff; clean, pragmatic and cozy place
Coffe and tea for free.
Central.
Could take a bike for free to explore around.
Sweet little village on the fisherman's trail, close to a beautiful Beach and landscape.
Thank you Nadine, Matthias & Daniela! <3
Very relaxed place, very close to the most beautiful beaches of the Portugal coast. The town where it´s loacated is surely worth visit, it has got very authentic atmosphere, free of the usual tourist stuff. Although we´ve checked in just before the midnight, the host was very helpful and nice!
The hotel is in a beautiful spot, beside a gorgeous beach and attached to restaurant with big patio. However, be forewarned it can be very windy and cold here. We were in adjacent town scorching hot but by time we got to beach we needed all the clothes we brought! The breakfast was very good.
This guest house is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and recently updated. The owner went out of her way to make us comfortable, including providing beverages when we arrived. She was also happy to recommend restaurants and help us find our way around the town.
Nice stay in Odeceixe, good value for money, very central location! Easy to get the beach from here by car, if not the bus/train also stops close by. You can also walk for 3km to the beach if that's your thing. It's close to one of my favorite all time beaches.
Casas do Moinho is a dream destination overlooking the beautiful village of Odeceixe. We stayed twice, in 2020 and last week, and it always surprises us with the quality of services and the kindness of the staff. Me and Camila couldn’t recommend more!
Magnificent luxury hotel in the countryside. Wonderful clean architecture. Exceptionally good breakfast. Very comfortable rooms. Perfect for a hideaway, therefore try to stay longer than one night only!
The Casa is just up the street from the center of town. it was clean, comfortable and quiet. They serve a generous breakfast in the morning. The señora is very warm and welcoming.
Very kind and helpful host, room was as in the pictures. Very convenient location of the hotel, close both to the beaches and the city center and delicious breakfast😊
The location was great in Praia de Odeceixe. It was good to have a kitchen we could use, facilities were good. Great location to just wander down to the beach.
The host was fantastic! The breakfast, albeit simple, was really good. The location is amazing: the morning view is one of the best I have seen in Portugal
