We spent a night here on our way home from Bavaria. Villa Augustus was oustanding in every respect - a most interesting conversion from a serries of water management buildings set in a beautiful formal park (to the north) and exquisite vegetable garden (to the south). Reception was most attentive, room and beds very comfortable, the food excellent. Couldn't fault it. We thought Villa Augustus is a destination in its own right.

Nice breakfast. The bar was ok. Cleaniness was very good. Most of the staff was very friendly. For our part the location was ok close to the old town. Quiet room even when it was at the ground floor and against a busy street.
This hotel features a wellness centre including an indoor pool, gym and sauna on the 14th-floor. There is also a modern restaurant which serves international cuisine and has a sun terrace.

This was our second stay at this hotel, booked a family suite which was stunning and ideal for myself, my husband and our 26 yr old son who was very happy having his own room and TV. The facilities were wonderful, pool was a bonus. Food was very good, restaurant open till 10pm! Breakfast was also really good, lots of choice and all fresh. Staff were lovely and very accommodating when they realised we were typically rubbish at speaking a foreign language. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel, buses run every 20 mins or so to the centre or Dordrecht, last returning at 11.45pm. Great service. (ample free parking at the hotel)

The room was amazing, fantastic decor, reminded us of Matisse or Hockney. Breakfast was top class and great value for money, and the dining room was very clean and relaxing. Enjoyed the beers in the evening, and the music being played.

What a charming place to stay! Super comfy bed and lovely room, complimentary teas, coffees and snacks were a lovely touch and Kees and his wife were so accommodating! Breakfast in the morning was wonderful - delicious homemade jams and it was the perfect location for exploring the lovely Dordrecht! I'd come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely B&B.
Sjoerd has done an amazing job in outfitting the rooms in Art Deco style and making them very comfortable in the process.
The check in process was very smooth and we were delighted to discover how tastefully the rooms were decorated and how generously they were made ready for us.
The range and quantity of the included food and drink was very generous, the bed was very comfortable, there were toiletries and slippers.
Much thought had been involved in fitting out the rooms.
Sjoerd is a generous, thoughtful and responsive host.
As many said, breakfast is cheap. Factory cheese and bread.
As many said, breakfast is cheap. Factory cheese and bread. Pastorised juice..
I checked back the photos because I never would pick such a location. Found out that the breakfast on the photo’s is not the same at all.
- bread from bakery
- rich fruit selection
- more than one cheese
- fresh juice

The manager was extremely condescending.
The manager was extremely condescending. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by staying in his hotel. The hotel has a gate with a bell yo ring but the bell is not easily found after dark so yes I waited 30 minutes outside ringing the bell and no one opened the gate until a car and the gate opened. The manager blamed my incompetence. The manager refused to give me his name when I checked out but I could identify him by photo. Horrible experience thinking I would stay ocked out of hotel at 10 pm

We used to live in Dordrecht so it always feels like our second home. It's a lovely old own with plenty of unique shops, relaxing cafes, museums and nice walks around the canals.
It is on the main train line from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam so it's easy to do day trips to these places.
You can also take the water ferry to Rotterdam and various other places from Dordrecht.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was.
Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was. It's not set up for tourism, though they are used to people from out of town with all the boats in the marina. Lots of cafes, and a few good places to eat. Close to Kinderdijk with the windmills. We stayed overnight on a stop over, but could of spent a couple of nights there, though probably not much longer than that.

Stayed in Dordrecht for the Dordt in stoom festival and it was wonderful and we will be back if we can ! The old town is pretty and the steam boats provided a great atmosphere in the old port. The only problem we had was that some places - like the tourist office and ticket booths - did not take either visa or mastercard - luckily we manged to get cash out but would have been in trouble over the weekend if this had not worked.
Dordrecht is a very nice town where people can easy spend two days: very nice streets, beautiful landscape, interesting shops and architecture... and the hotel (the boat) is very well located, close to a (easy to park) parking (3' walking) and the city centre.
The hotel rooms are (as expected) rather small but the space is very well used and the shower is rather big. Everything is very clean.
Staff make you feel at easy and breakfast was nice.
Our teenagers loved it!
This is a very chic and elegant small apartment, very conveniently located for the town centre and the station. I found the bed extremely comfortable. Not a lot in the way of kitchen equipment, but enough for simple cooking. I didn't meet the host but he was extremely responsive to messages and texts which I really appreciated. I found Dordrecht to be a wonderful town, with fabulous riverside areas and many individual and interesting shops.
The whole place was magical, like the whimsical brainchild of Beatrix Potter and Lemony Snicket. I would return to Dordrecht just to stay here for the weekend! It was such a pity we planned only one night. The food was lovely, the decor quaint, and the room extremely comfortable. Book here for a memorable stay. Tips: be sure to book your restaurant spot in advance, it was full up during our stay.
De Watertoren was a great and iconic place to stay. Tom and Lisa were really friendly, the restaurant and bar were great, and of course the rooms (with a view :D) were unique. The location is also really good if you want to explore both Dordrect and the nearby Biesbosch area. There is a frequent and easy bus service into Dordrecht which means no hassle with the car.
Lovely hotel. Near busy roads but we were not disturbed by this. Quite a way out of Dortrecht itself so we did not go into the centre. (We were travelling by bicycle). Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and an excellent choice for breakfast, including catering for my gluten free requirements. Would highly recommend.
Very nice room, with very cosy atmosphere. Warm even though outside temps were near freezing. Host was great and showed us around. Very clean and good quality fixtures and fittings made the barn conversion feel very modern and well kept. Highly recommended as a different experience to the usual hotels.
The room we booked had excellent views over the river. Very old hotel but full of character. Car parking at rear of hotel for free. Very good breakfast. Plenty of choice. Dordrecht is a beautiful place to spend a few days. This hotel is in a great place to explore from. Would very happily stay again.
Friendly hosts who provide good information, amazing breakfast that was very fresh and healthy, nice selection of herbal tea, bike friendly, lovely waterside location in nice part of Dordrecht
Great B&B, great location in the old town of Dordrecht. Parking close by in walking distance. Very friendly people and the breakfast was good as well, with plenty of food, coffee and tea.
The Eco aspect of this Hotel is a nice selling point
Breakfast was really fresh and tasty
The owner was really helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant and booked it for us too.
Super B&B in a stunning historic building! I enjoyed the chats with the host over the very generous breakfast. Would definitely book again should I visit Dordrecht again in the future!
