Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
The location is excellent, just across the street from arguably the best beach in Mauritius.
While the food choice was not over the top, the quality of food was excellent, including tuna, prawns, octopus, squids, and crab soup for dinner.

Location was tops. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Mr Ally very accommodating. The aircon was great. Room clean. Would recommend it anytime. Good value for money if you looking just for a place to lay your head.

Flic and Flac has a great beach and lots of good restaurants...
Flic and Flac has a great beach and lots of good restaurants. It is very lively, particularly on a Saturday and Sunday. The restaurants that we enjoyed were Chutneys, Sunset Garden, Mosaic and a Thai restaurant that was a little further out in Tamarin called Ousaporn. Lovely garden settings in both Sunset Gardens and Ousaporn. I recommend hiring a car. The Black River Gorge is stunning. A delightful place to stay, plenty of restaurant to choose from. Lots of shops and everything available. Easy transport available. Other parts of the country can be visited without any problems. Near by Casela,, domain Anna and all the beaches were accessible. Lovely restaurant like Bougainville, Zoub Express, Ah youn, Chez PEPE and others are very pleasant. Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as...
Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as windy as the east coast or as wet i.e. rainy. The beach is sheltered by a coral reef; as are many of the beaches on Mauritius but there are also resident pods of bottlenose and spinner dolphins off of the west coast of the island. The boat trips to swim with dolphins and also visit the island on the SW coast of Mauritius go from Flic-en-Flac beach so cost a lot less than from other parts of the island - worth visiting more than one tour operator to get the best price. Flic-en-Flac is not too far from the airport and being about half way up it is easy to get to most parts of the island in a day to see things. flic en flac is the best place to stay in Mauritius the weather is always good even when the rest of the island is experiencing bad weather even when there was a cyclone, we experienced it for 3 hours while the rest of the island experienced it for a day

There are many wonderful places to dine around Flic en Flac...
There are many wonderful places to dine around Flic en Flac with restaurants to cater to everyone's tastes. There is a big supermarket, some bars and on weekends the place is livelier with music and sega shows. (not to be missed) The beach is clean and the lagoon is clear and safe to swim. Sand is clean and there are Filao trees to keep you in the shade. The water is warm throughout the day. There is a big shopping mall 10 mins away where you have modern shops, bowling alley, clubs, food places including Mcdonalds and KFC. The local cuisine is so good so we tried to eat local whenever possible. We went to Grand Baie which is very nice too but we preferred the charm of Flic en Flac and Flic en Flac was more relaxing.AAnonymous

Location of the Villa was perfect close to shops and the Beautiful local beach. Host also recommend thing to do and gave me a fantastic suggestion to hire a car to explore the island for a great price. Overall the island was amazing to visit but the accommodation was perfect with plenty of space and extremely clean. 10/10 highly recommend. Many Thanks Owen

The apartment is walking distance to all this, clean, modern, and newly furnished. Our kids loved the pool! We loved being able to either walk where we wanted to be, or to take the public transport across the main road. Rose and Kurt are really amazing hosts (the best I have encountered in travels by a long shot!). Overall great experience for our family and a lovely and memorable holiday.

Breakfast is excellent, parking places available at the property. I was impressed by the kindness of some of the staff, especially the guardian (during the night they have a guardian to make sure the area is protect even if I think is not really necessary), which is a wise person, explaining me the history of Mauritius and some other usefully info about places around.
