This was the best accommodation we could have wished for, we stayed in a Deluxe room, spacious with high ceilings. Position was perfect to enjoy Mirissa beach with the option to swim in the pool if the sea was rough. We opted for full board which meant we ate Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the resort restaurant on the second floor overlooking the beach - the food was varied and delicious. The staff could not be more helpful and we were treated like VIPS.

Spacious rooms with a kitchenette. Bonus of having a washing machine in the really good sized bathroom. The staff were really attentive to our needs and got things sorted out for us promptly. The lovely ladies who were cleaning the rooms even folded our washing that we hung out on the lines. Our kids made great use of the good sized pool at the accommodation. We were a stones throw from the beach and bars in the area. The staff were really helpful in their knowledge of the area and suggestions made of things to do in the area

The most beautiful place on Earth. You can swim in the sea with the turtles and watch the baby turtles take their maiden voyage into the sea (all for free). You can walk along the beach and walk through the sea to the little island. You can eat on the beach at night and listen to the live music. You can go to coconut hill and look out through the palm trees to the sea. We would recommend Raja and the Whales for ETHICAL whale / dolphin watching. An amazing experience without disturbing these wonderful creatures. We also hired a scooter to visit the other beaches and nearby Galle. There is SO much to do!

A busy touristy beach town with a nice beach and good waves.
Eating out can be expensive and caters to Western tastes. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find authentic Sri Lankan food, a real shame.
There are beautiful temples in the area, drop your smoothie bowl and experience the real Sri Lanka.

Mirissa is a great beach, currently the ocean is rough in April due to unusual weather patterns perhaps after Taiwan earthquake .
Fun beach where it totally comes alive from 4pm with restaurants row and in the mornings too could use the beach chairs swim while sipping a cocktail or have afternoon tea, currently only dip but for surf better. The food served with cocktails , wines alcohol and deserts are gourmet and delish and upto international standards.

Not sure where the rave reviews come from, there are much nicer beaches/beach locations in Sri Lanka! The town of Mirissa is actually quite littered and the offerings in terms of cafes, restaurants is not great.

Lovely long beach with many restaurants and bars along the way. Always a happy hour/hours at most places. Food is relatively expensive but you have to remember you are literally eating on the beach. Good surf spots and even a little body surf action on the main beach.
The hotel has a great Srilankan feel with interesting furniture & paintings. They serve a great breakfast either Western or Srilankan. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. Very relaxed atmosphere with a nice pool. All rooms have an ocean view & large balcony with comfortable chairs for relaxing in the evening. Quiet away from the busy road. Within walking distance ( 15 mins )or a tuk tuk ride from Mirissa and lots of restaurants. No beach as such but plenty in Mirissa itself with lots of beach bars.
Lovely breakfast with quality food products and great coffee. Our room was AMAZING with great A/C, beautiful linens and very well styled. The staff were outstanding and attended to all guests with consistent good service.
A lovely touch was the free Tuk Tuk to Mirissa beach between 9am-6pm.
The hotel has a sister restaurant called Ohh La La and it is definitely worth a visit. Great food, exceptional service and to top it all, a fab musician playing.
Would I return..... absolutely!!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Mimoza Mirissa. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from the near end of Mirissa beach and far enough away to not hear the loud bass music from some of the bars on the beach. We were also close to Secret beach- amazing!. The staff are very friendly and provide good service. The breakfast was awesome and the rooms clean, tidy and well presented. The hotel was well run and managed. We highly recommend.
Friendliest woman of all time runs this accommodation. I can't recommend staying here enough. Smack dab in the middle of Mirissa, right across the street from the main beach, but the other breaks aren't too far away. The rooftop view of the place is beautiful and that is where you eat the best, locally made Sri-Lankan breakfast of all time. So much food and everything was soooooo good. Room was neat and large with a large, nice bathroom.
Great hotel, with great staff, and a perfect location, very close to Mirissa Beach. Breakfast was amazing and the room was big and comfortable. Chana is exceptional, he always goes above and beyond any expectations for his guests. Highly recommended to stay there if you go to Mirissa. Thank you Chana for making our Holiday even better with your great customer service. Hope to see you soon.
This hotel is in a perfect location right on the beach and we were given a delicious fresh coconut on overall. It’s a very short walk to turtle beach and coconut hill in addition to Mirissa beach. The breakfast was good and you could order as much as you wanted from the breakfast menu. I also really liked the aesthetic of the whole place and the smell in the rooms was delicious!
The owner and staff in BeachMirissa Hotel was extremely kind and helpful. We had many good, inspiring and informative talks with the owners. We learned a lot about Sri Lankas history, political and social situation as week as many personal talks.
My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay. Everybody at the hotel was so kind to celebrate her.
We loved everything! The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful and approachable. The rooms were lovely and clean and perfect for us. The café outside was amazing, loved having breakfast here and seemed to be very popular with others not staying at the hotel. I’d highly recommend staying here, lovely walk to the beach, overall a great experience!
Very friendly staff, always happy to help. Room was cleaned regularly and they make a great breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes - Sri Lankan breakfast also available upon request.
Only 5 minutes walk to Mirissa main beach and 10 minutes to the surf break... surfed every day, fun and consistent right hand point.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the beachfront area of the hotel is beautiful! The bed was also very comfortable and the view from the room at this price point was excellent. The location is good, however we did have to take a tuk tuk every time we wanted to go somewhere in Mirissa.
Our room at Mama’s place was very spacious and clean with a big beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. We were 30 meters from Mirissa Beach and a five minute walk into town. The breakfast options were delicious and there were great dinner options too. I would highly recommend this place!
Nice contemporary style relatively new hotel near Mirissa beach. The rooms are spacious, the view from the terrace is great. Delicious breakfast served in the room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Helped arrange transport both ways at a reasonable price/quality ratio.
The hotel is right on the beach which is great, on the next bay round from Mirissa. The room was a good size and had a fantastic view as we opted for the more expensive sea view. Fairly well equipped room, reasonably good comfy bed. Nice clean linen.
Nice cute botique hotel jus 2 mins walk away to the beach and coconut tree hill. Can literally see the coconut tree hill from the bedroom. Host Chandana is very good and helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice 👍 overall a nice stay near Mirissa beach
The hostess was kind and very helpfull and very flexibele to. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and the place.is very quiet. There is Just enough distantie between the noisy beach and the hotel. You can sleep very quiet
This is the Best hotel in Mirissa . Straight across form one of the best beach areas in Sri Lanka. The staff where excellent. Food in the roof top bar and swimming pool was first class. I cant praise this hotel enough.
On the beach, great location, lovely family run hotel, comfy beds, great air con, best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka, lots of advice of places to go/eat. Personal touch made all the difference.
