I love the greenery, this time we stayed in one of the cabins and it felt very secluded with a nice view. Despite the rain it was very scenic.

We felt like royalty for a couple of days. We were greeted by the most pleasant staff from we entered the property. The front desk staff ensured we got to our rooms with no issues.
We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. We loved that it was to order and not buffet. Our server Ryan gave us 5 star service for 2 days.

I am not so much a fan of Port Antonio town but the area of Portland is my favourite as it’s so beautiful and peaceful. I always stay longer in the part of the island as it’s so wonderful to come from a big city like a London to this peaceful paradise.

We didn't spend a lot of time in the town of Port Antonio, but did have a delicious fish and lobster dinner at Roots 21. We mostly went to the beaches near fairy hill and Zion hill. Taxis are plentiful but we chose to use Polish Princess charter service as it was raining and or dark when we went out for dinner.

The main problem being in port Antonio is transportation if you are not driving. because it is not a tourist area like montego Bay or Negill, you may have difficulty reaching there or when you are Leaving!! I have been here about six times now And that is the biggest problem. There are great restaurants here with great food food along the area near Boston beach. Even though the jerk centers are not always that greatest according to reputation. the jerk restaurant right at the Boston beach Guest house entrance was excellent also also Rocky's fried chicken was good. I don't recall the names of a few of the other restaurants!!

Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica.
Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica. The town itself is very lively, and the surrounding area has lots of outdoor attractions do including, Frenchmans, cove, blue Lagoon, horseback riding, and more.
Be aware, however, that the roads are rough! There was construction going on as of late November 2023 when we visited. So we were stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic at one point while they closed the road. There is only one main road and one lane each direction so getting around takes some time, even tough the distance between attractions may seem short.
Also have your wits about you when interacting with street vendors, they may overcharge you. So ask for prices upfront and calculate your total before handing over any cash. We got ripped off and wound up paying $1,000 JMD for a fritter, Callaloo and breadfruit but it was our fault for not double checking the total.

I love the parish of Portland and always enjoy being in Port Antonio. Decent, kind, welcoming people and the many attractions to visit and beaches to visit.
I am just hoping they fix the roads sooner than later.
This was very peaceful, quiet, relaxing. I needed it because my holiday was to attend my Dads funeral. I’m so glad I picked this hotel. On a daily basis you could hear beautiful nature,ie, frogs/birds and this added to its wow factor. I loved the food and the chef Andre cooked what I requested so I had Jamaican food daily. It was finger licking good. The hominy porridge took me back to childhood and the meals he prepared for my son and I were of a high standard. I give 10 out of 10 for the food he cooked. He’s an asset to this hotel.
The location of the hotel was amazing, walking distance of many interesting places. The staff was very friendly and Barbara was an amazing person, she has gone way and beyond to fullfill my needs. As a woman travelling alone things were quite difficult for me in Jamaica but Barbara helped me to arrange day trips, gave me tips about walking around and made me awsome breakfasts. The room was quiet and confortable and internet was very stable, I even worked from the hotel.
This is a wonderful place to stay in Port Antonio. The location is superb, the waterfront and all the amenities of the town are within walking distance. Marie and her family were excellent hosts who provided the perfect balance of maintaining our privacy whilst always being happy to help. The room itself is spotlessly clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed the private outdoor area.
I absolutely LOVE this hotel & WILL be coming back. Portland is such a beautiful parrish. So much to see and do. My villa was spacious and amazing. I loved my outdoor tub and my private pool. I love the fact is was nestled away. One can truly relax here. The property was clean and staff was amazing. The view from my room was breathtaking. The private beach was EVERYTHING!!!
* Beautiful hotel grounds, extremely well kept.
* Fantastic location, on the cliffs facing out to sea. Really peaceful and relaxing setting.
* The main selling point is probably the room - every room gets a hammock and spacious balcony and is facing the sea.
* Cocktails for $7.50 which was a reasonable price for the amount of liquor they put in.
The rooms were quite lovely, the view immaculate. There's the beach with a swing, & a zip line. There's a pool, & a bar on the property, & breakfast included. Restaurants seconds away. Over all, great spot to be, perfect location with lots of venues. & I enjoyed the free coconut water with jelly.
Lovely property with helpful, friendly staff. Nice breakfast out on the terrace with a friendly cat or two! Pool area looked great but the weather did not cooperate (Feb 2024). Port Antonio, Blue Lagoon and Frenchman's Cove not far away. Car is very useful to have!
The hotel's proximity to the Blue Lagoon and other beaches make it an ideal spot. The rooms had beautiful views and were very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. The food was delicious. Great presentation. With everything, the staff was very helpful.
The location and facilities in the cottage were great. You have many things to enjoy around and a beautiful beach very close. Charlie and Easyman are super nice, helpful, informing and sharing. We loved to stay there and will repeat!
Stefano was kind, welcoming, and informative :) he showed us great ways to get around and to the beach, had great tips on what to do, and there was always a positive attitude at the hostel. the best of luck to you friend!
- Very nice&clean room in the centre of Port Antonio, the whole town is within walking distance
- Host is absolutely lovely & helpful
- Restaurants are nearby and there's an equiped kitchen as well
Loved the decor in the room, looked exactly like the pics. My husband & I love dogs and there I believe 4 on the property & they were so sweet. The beach is very close and a bar for drinks.
Everything, Alfio and Althea are great hosts and Alfio is also an excellent chef.
Is really close to Boston beach and the other landmarks
The breakfast was the best we had in our roundtrip
With little more management insight this property can do better.
Has potential
The breakfast serve was tasty
