Location right next to the train station made it easier to lug bags back and forth for the one-night stay. Also quite close to tourist points of interest, including being next to start of Vernazza-Cornelia hiking trail. Waiting area (or coffee area or breakfast area) was very comfortable.

Room was more than I anticipated. It was very clean, quaint room with local personal touches, good shower pressure, large bathroom, great location, beautiful view. Relaxing on patio every evening was a treat, especially smelling the honeysuckle & all the flowers in bloom. Elena very helpful & gave us wonderful dinner suggestions

Donna Barbara and her beautiful apartment were perfect for our stay! Steps away from the main piazza in Vernazza, and the delicious restaurants and shops, it was in a perfect location for exploring the town. Donna Barbara was a wealth of information as to where to eat, and how to take the train to the other towns, and what to see. I can't thank her enough for making our stay so enjoyable...we highly recommend it!

Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra...
Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra villages to get around. This lodging is up a cliff - 111 steps! But the view! Monterosso has the best beach. Corniglia is charming but amazing amount of stairs up from the train station. Riomaggiorie is the largest and plenty of amenities. Steep hills! Vernazza was overcrowded.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! Those with accessibility concerns should know that the rooms are up steep and twisting stairs, but for two able-bodied young people, it was a perfect combination or price and location. It was very clean and the staff (Lorenzo) was so helpful and kind. Another gentleman helped us carry our bags downstairs when we were checking out. Very cozy and quiet. Vernazza was my favorite. AC was good. We were there in September so the temp outside wasn't too hot. I would definitely stay here again!
