Very clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful (I had to do a very late check-in and they were able to accommodate this request). The views from the hotel to the lake are incredible.
The family-run Hotel Brisino offers panoramic views over Lake Maggiore. Many rooms have their own balcony overlooking the lake, and all come with satellite TV.

Old traditional building but in perfect condition…. Parking for my motorcycle catered for, breakfast hostess was charming and amusing… balcony view was lovely, if only I had the weather to sit out there and enjoy it…

Meina is a nice place to stay - it is relatively less tourists oriented than most other well known towns nearby. Many other towns (eg, Milan) can be easily accessed via train or car. It is easy to make small talks with the locals in this village. It has a great local wine bar (chin chin) and a bakery.

The Hotel is in a splendid situation on the lake with lovely views from the terraces and the breakfast room. Rooms with a lake view are splendid and much to be preferred to the alternative mountain view. Limited parking is available in front of the hotel with more under cover in the garage which is under the hotel with a narrow entrance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Rooms are spacious and well appointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We ate out at the Antico Verbano (200 metres) Pizzeria Palme (600 meters) and the Ristorante Bella Vista (800 metres); all good. Very easy to reach Stresa and Baveno for excellent trips on the lake.
This is the 'place to be' in the neighbourhood of the Laggio Maggiore. The owners are very kind, the house and the garden are well-maintained. Rooms are very clean.
Very good location to visit the Lago Maggiore. There is possibility to sit on the terraces and in the garden.
The microwave and fridge in the kitchen can be used. Very good breakfast. The host prepared every day an excellent breakfast and cake. The host also provided a babybed and a high chair for the baby, what we appreciated also very much.
Stunning location on Lago Maggiori. All rooms overlooking the lake. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Two bathrooms with powerful showers. Kitchen small but well equiped to cook a simple meal. Balcony small, just fits two chairs and table. We were met on arrival and felt very welcome. Adjoining restaurant (run by part of the family but not part of the hotel) also on lake side, offering stunning views and good food. Concierge knowledgeable about the area.
The staff were friendly and professional. The food was 5 stars, service was perfect, the beach area was absolutely perfect, the pool area was perfectly clean, modern and had a lovely atmosphere. The choice at breakfast was generous and fresh. The view from the room and outdoor restaurant was stunning. The hotel is gorgeous and kept in very good condition.
The room was perfect.
A very relaxing place to go to and I will definitely be going back.
This charming B&B has everything you need for a comfortable stay at Lago Maggiore, and is run by the most welcoming and kind lady we met on our visit to Italy. Letizia made our visit complete by taking time to tell us about the local area, recommend restaurants and discuss italian politics and history. She also provides a delectable home made breakfast, that really shouldn’t be missed, with the best croissants in Italy.
Property has everything needed with fantastic views, a couple of restaurants and a little bar, all located on/near the hotel and a small town within walking distance for groceries.
George is amazing, he sorted our restaurants, transport and excursions for us and has a brilliantly fun sense of humour to match his great recommendations. I would not hesitate going back, Lake Maggiore is stunning.
Thank you George.
Andrea’s place was lovely. The patio was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese before dinner. The village of Meina is lovely and small, and it’s such a unique place to visit. There are many fun things to do nearby, and we had such a good time exploring the sights on Lago Maggiore. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!
The view was more than I imagined. Windows everywhere to enjoy the sunrise, sunset, count the stars at night. Spacious for our family of 4, very comfortable beds, kitchen equipped for making meals (grocery store in nearby Arona). Little bar and coffee place right on the Lakeshore next to the hotel as an option.
wonderfully renovated rooms and hotel. staff were personable and helpful throughout our stay. dinner at the restaurant was wonderful as well as small lunch on the terrace and breakfast. nice bar services too for the evening. super views of the lake and wonderful pool facilities.
We had a lovely time at La Limonaia. The house is charming and the view of the lake is breathtaking. For us, it was a great base to explore Lago Maggiore and the surroundings during the day, while in the evening we could just admire the lake with a glass of wine.
It’s a beautiful, fully renovated apartment with a stunning view over lago maggiore - nicer than the pictures suggest. The interior is bright and modern, but warm/cozy. Location is excellent, with shops and restaurants in Arona and the lake front nearby.
Position of the hotel near the lake offer you an wonderful and relax view from the room and the yard too. When you have breakfast or lunch or and just have a cup of coffee. The location is perfect for whom want a relaxing stay near Arona or Stressa.
The apartment was very nice and clean and the communication with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated. Meina is pretty but also quite a small town from where you can explore the surroundings (e.g. lago d'orta, Arona, Lesa...).
Great location, quiet space to relax, you can just sit the whole day on the open terrace and enjoy beautiful views of Lago Maggiore. We enjoyed a morning swim in the lake. Staff is very welcoming and attentive.
A beautiful little hotel on the lake, with amazing suite, great views, high quality staff, well designed rooms, a place to jump and swim in the lake, and a nice breakfast on a terrace looking at the lake.
The rooms were fantastic especially during the sunrise. The hotel has been cleverly built to make the most of the lake view and there were lots of chances to take a plunge!
