Apartment was everything we could have wanted. The Hosts' attention to detail was exemplary. Location was fantastic, out of town so it was quiet - but close enough to train station to have great access anywhere in the region.
Wonderful clean spacious room and good breakfast. I loved the fresh figs from the garden. Perfect place for daytrips to Bolzano, the earth pyramids and Seceda (1 hour drive) and other places!
The swimming pool is great and the garden well kept. The hosts/owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome. It was nice to have a small fridge in the room and airconditioning too!
Inge was a fabulous host, taking time out from the apple harvest, to personally greet us. She was very helpful with any questions we had and even gave us some apples when we left. The room was very comfortable with everything you might need for a short stay. Following Inge's recommendation, we ate a lovely meal at the Hotel Steiner. If the weather is good, eat on the terrace. Also, great to get the Bolzano Card, which gives you free train travel (just around the corner) and entry to some attractions like the museums.
The hotel offers an exceptional breakfast experience, complemented by immaculate cleanliness and efficient management. While the staff demonstrated notable friendliness, minor oversights occurred, promptly rectified upon my notification. Additionally, the hotel boasts a charming restaurant, expansive pool facilities, and picturesque surroundings, enhancing the overall guest experience. Bolzano is available with a free public transportation. (±40 mins trip to city center) or with a car (much faster)
After arrival, we received the Bolzano card from the hotel that includes free travel with public transport to Bolzano city centre. The bus stop is across the street, and takes you in about 30 min to the city centre. Buses go approximately every 30 min. Great breakfast, and there is also diner possibility. Located at a busy street, but with the shutters closed the noice was at a low level. In the room are slippers and towels for usage of the pool. The pool is a great!
Everything was amazing from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are even better in person. The pool and sauna were clean and not crowded. Breakfast was really quite good. The location is great, just a short drive to Bolzano or to Obereggen for skiing
Rooftop pool; diner; parking under hotel; fairly close to Bolzano, Lago di Monticolo and Passo di Stelvio. Location ideal for our stop on our way back home. Staff was nice and helpfull. Our room had a modern minimalistic style which we liked. It remains on our list for future stops
Excellent cosy B & B, with all amenities, very clean, spotless. Nice location in the small town of Laives, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Giovanni is a great host, very hands-on and extremely kind and caring - and an interesting person to talk to.
The kids loved the roof-top pool and the little slide made all of the difference.
Couldn't fault the choice at breakfast and the staff were the friendliest in the hotel.
Quiet - in spite of being pretty busy we were never disturbed by noise
Very clean, great staff, good food (both at the hotel restaurant and the camping restaurant, but the one in the hotel is better, with more of a fine dining experience) if I come back to Bolzano area I will stay again at Steiner.
Great hotel a short drive from down town Bolzano. With the booking we also got a "Bolzano Card" which got us free entry into several museums as well as many cable lifts and trolleys into the surrounding hills and mountains.
A very friendly hotel team (probably a family?), nice rooms, very warm atmosphere. Restaurant is very nice, breakfast was perfect. We had a very good sleep - very quiet place with lot of fresh mountain air.
Very friendly staff and very helpful. Location was excellent near the railway. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a kitchen in one room. A lovely family hotel
