Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff.
Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive.
Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. Steep fines for driving into the old town if not done per instructions and timing.

I made a mistake with my comment about the car park.
I made a mistake with my comment about the car park. There is good access and plenty of parking spaces. I muddled up my comments about another location.
Castellina is a lovely town with some history and good places to eat.

We loved the location, amazing scenery and ambience of the property. It is an authentic rural family owned winery originally owned by Host’s grandparents. Excellent personal service is also a standout plus the split level room is very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Walking round the Tuscan vineyards is an amazing way to see the local area. We walked around Castellina, Radda,. Giaole, Volpaie, San Gimignano, Volterra and Badia a Passignano. All fabulous walks - don’t forget to stop for coffee when you can, to sit and watch the world go by. Florence and Siena are a short distance away too and we’ll worth visiting - enjoy!

The location in the countryside was excellent.
The location in the countryside was excellent. Plenty of room for parking, somebody always on duty at reception & beautiful large room with very spacious bathroom. Choice of either A La Carte or Set Menu & the food was excellent paired with local Chianti of course. Downtime can be spent at the pool & indulge in some wine tasting from their large stock on site. Had a free wine tasting in Castellina the following morning from a very informative host. The hotel is surrounded by local vines which just adds to the atmosphere of the area. Staff always available & always helpful. Sad to leave after a lovely breakfast with plenty of choices in the morning but must return for longer on our next trip now that we have found such a star offering.

This was one of, if not, the best stay in recent memory.
This was one of, if not, the best stay in recent memory. For anyone, or any couple, looking for a quiet getaway in one of the most beautiful villa’s in Tuscany, this is your place. Villa Di Capovento is even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures: the grounds are beautiful, the pool is amazing/incredibly relaxing and the rooms are spacious, air conditioned (!) and some even come with their own jacuzzi. The only thing that was more impressive than the Villa itself was the unmatched care that Stella, Ettore and Nerina (their cat) took of us on our entire stay. They were incredibly caring to all needs, flexible in setting up wine tastings/motor bikes for us to get around, and easily accessible for anything related to the room. Ettore even went the extra mile and drove to pick us up at a nearby winery when one of our bike tires went flat. On top of the beautiful grounds and the incredibly caring staff, we had the best food on our entire trip (Amalfi, Tuscany, Milan) at Villa Di Capovento. We will absolutely be back next year and hopefully for many years to come

Super clean. modern and well equipped apartment with a big terrace and heartbreaking view to Chianti Valley, 3 min walk from the city centre. Check-in via the hotel nearby, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You get discount in the amazing restaurant near the hotel and shop as well as free access to the hotel swimming pool that can be a nice option during the hot weather. We dream to return again! Thank you!
The best location possible. Spectacular views from every angle. Up on a hilltop overlooking Tuscany. Better than what we dreamed a Tuscan view would be. Great pool area with a view. Restaurant and service were great. Staff were outstanding, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile. We will be back!!!
The hotel is located in a quiet location, but it’s great if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy some peace and quiet. The property is beautiful, and the pool had an amazing view. I traveled with my dog and the staff were incredibly welcoming! The gifted bottle of wine in the room upon arrival was a nice touch!
beautiful, quiet location in the vineyard with stunning views, very spacious and clean apartment, Mario's care and willingness was brilliant, Ricudda wine excellent (possibility to buy directly at the vineyard), restaurants/supermarket in Castellina in Chianti (10 min. by car, very nice small town)
Great location for visiting the region of Tuscany, pool area was quiet and pool was clean, the room was cool and comfortable even though it had no A/C. Breakfast was adequate and made a good start to the day. I'd recommend this hotel as it provided everything we wanted from our 4 night stay.
we were very pleased with the property’s location. the town its in is charming. nearby towns and sites are easily accessible. within the hotel, we enjoyed its breakfasts on the terrace, the garden swimming pool, and the lower ground spa. all staff were warm and very helpful.
Old school charm and very friendly staff in beautiful chiante. You cannot not fall in love with this little hotel. It also offers free parking almost next to the front door and we had a ground floor room, which is very convenient when you have some mobility issues.
Great property! It is in a great location, just on the edge of Castellina in Chianti, walkable into the village. The staff are lovely and the apartment was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. we would certainly stay here again!
The hotel staff was the best part. They were very helpful and nice. They helped us book a COVID test, required to come back to the U.S. The facilities are nice and the hotel has updated decor and looks like it's been recently renovated.
The location is amazing! Staying in the vineyard with an amazing view, the most relaxing vacation I could ever dream of. The staff was amazing and help with everything and the hotel restaurant is incredible!!! Will definitely come back
This place is AMAZING. Probably the best "castle"-stay in Tuscany. With its amazing views, you can quite literally see all of Chianti from here. Highly recommend. Typing another sentence to meet the wording requirement.
Lovely pool with views of vineyard. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Good for a couple of nights.
Close to Castellina in chianti...although not really walking distance...and good as a base for touring the area.
The view outside of the hotel was very nice. The property has the tuscany charm of old stone walls. The restaurant was nice too, though it was all very wild (rabbit, pheasant, wild boar).
Picture-postcard setting in a beautiful part of Chianti with 360 degree farm and hill views. Clean, spacious apartment. Excellent location near pretty, quaint Castellina in Chianti.
Fantastic venue in the nature and very close to the historical centre of the wonderful Castellina in Chianti. Great support and tips from the very friendly managers.
Amazing buffet breakfast with plenty of local produce. The rooms were stunning, and the grounds of the hotel itself were an absolute treat for the senses.
