Nice place for skiing.
Nice place for skiing. The city of Bormio is also worth to visit - very cozy atmosphere with the fantastic views! There are also thermal sources in the area - try it out! Visiting and bathing Vasche di Leonardo is very interesting experience! But don't go there at the dark time! The route is very narrow, be cautious! At least take a light with you!

Small town, lovely main street, great shops and restaurants.
Small town, lovely main street, great shops and restaurants. All within easy reach of the snow slopes and summer cycling climbs, including the legendary Stelvio pass. It is easy to walk from most hotels to the centre of town in minutes. The surrounding mountains are stunning.

Bormio in summer is an excellent base for road cyclists, with great climbs in almost every direction, including three of the most famous in the cycling World, namely the Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo passes. Active pursuits aside, the town is a very pretty place to stroll around. It has some great eating and drinking options, and some lovely speciality shops too. And just 1-2km from the town centre, you can choose between the Bagni Nuovi or Bagni Vecchi thermal baths for an amazing spa/wellness experience.

Bormio is a beautiful surprising village, with so much to do, alternatively take a casual stroll through the town and treat yourself to a coffee in the historic town square at one of the many casual cafe's that dot the area. The private hotel spa's can be experienced by all for a fee, or try the public spa's which are cheaper but are some of the best we have ever experienced not at all what was expected of Italy more a German Hotel 5* or Budapest. For the time of year when it was sweltering & overcrowded at our holiday base of Bellagio, Bormio was a wonderful place to retreat to. I would not hesitate to visit this Village and the surrounding Alpine Ski Villages of which Livigno the Duty Free Ski Town again. The area is spectacular and was well within driving distance say maybe 1.5 hours from Bellagio. Overall I would give Bormio a 10 out of 10 for accommodation choices and the variety of things to do. Walking, Hiking, Ski (in winter), cycling both road and mountain biking, eating, relaxing

It is a great starting point for cycling in the mountains (...
It is a great starting point for cycling in the mountains (Stelvio/Gavia). It has great spa's (we visited Bagno Vecchio), although not cheap. The town centre is very nice with shops and a lot of (coffee/apperitivo)bars and restaurants.
The friendliest staff you’ll ever meet! We were made to feel incredibly welcome by all team members, who provided plenty of advice on the local area. Comfortable rooms and a great bar/restaurant area. The breakfast provided was also fantastic.
Our group travelled for a cycling holiday. Hotel Nevada caters for this with storage for bikes and bags in a dedicated bike room, which was really helpful.
When I visit the area again I plan to stay at the hotel next time!
Staff was very friendly and offered advice on places to bike, meals, and things to see. Hotel owners / managers involved and checked in with guests daily. Very nice down to earth people at a level of the hotel staff. Had bike room and shop as well super plus. When bike had an issue and could fix their owner / manager gave ride to a local shop they worked with and picked up the bike. Staff would do anything for any guess to ensure a perfect vacation.
Visited Bormio for a cycling event. The hotel was at a great location, very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and nice facilities. They offered laundry service which was done in a few hours. My only problem was close to no WIFI in my room on the third floor. Ended up sitting in the lobby area to do work where the connection was top notch so no big deal. All in all 5 star experience - I'll be back at St Anton next time around. Very happy!
One of the best places in Bormio: 100 m to the free skibus stop (one stop to the Bormio 2000 ski lift) 100 m to the pizzeria and shop, 500 m to the Bormio Termal. It is a perfect Family hotel with 50 years of traditions. Excellent breakfast, bar, coasy place for family and friend's gatherings. There is an elevator for all floors, good storage for ski and bicycles in the basement, good car parking.
Very nice apartment, fully equipped and perfectly clean. Very good position, with free parking (as well as a box), at walking distance from the historical center of Bormio and from the cable car to Bormio 2000. A large supermarket is just 200 m away. The host is very kind, available and helpful.
fantastic Location, nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast.
thé location is only 1 street from the amazing old town of Bormio, but still only a very short walk to the ski lifts and the apres ski bars of the ski area. possibly in the best location of Bormio I think.
Spacious, beautiful appartment with well equipped kitchen. Good location near by (by car) to a ski lift in Bormio, walkable to the grocery shopping. In a nature, a little bit out of center, but walkable to the center of Bormio. Host family was very nice.
Breakfast is amazing, omelette and oxeye are always fresh right before you.
There is a steak house under the hotel, also excellent service and food...and wine of course :)
The rooms were tidy and clean every day. The staff is nice and accommodating.
Centrally located in the old town, quiet, parking available and the amenities are wonderful. the couple that runs the property are so lovely and kind. It was a wonderful stay! We will be back for sure when we are in Bormio! You can’t go wrong.
The hotel is clean and the staff is great.
They are very helpful with every request.
The breakfast has good quality products.
Location is just at the end of a slope and near the ski lift.
Overall really nice stay, love the place.
Location was very good, just down from the Terme Spa and very quiet at night. Plenty of room and very well equipped. Bike storage was very good. Friendly owners. Would stay again if we return to Bormio.
Spa is very good but usually crowded with one day users not staying at the hotel. Massages are excellent. Room was beautiful and with an excellent decor taste. Unbelievable location and views
Beautiful location, just outside Bormio, but close enough to walk to the centre and easy access to a good supermarket. The flat is amazing with everything necessary for our little family.
Owner/Staff; the apartment we were in was clean, spacious and comfortable; the location near to town was good; really nice decor of the hotel; the free gym/sauna was a great touch
