The hotel is extremely welcoming, combining original fortress architecture with a modern extension. The design of the hotel is very sensitive to every detail. The staff is very helpful, attentive to the needs of the guests. In addition to the very pleasant wellness center, I would also appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food. We have been to the hotel for the second time and would be happy to return again.

Super Lage, sehr aufmerksames Personal, gutes Essen
Excellent place for a ski trip. Has plenty of slopes nearby and is directly on Sella Ronda and Grande Guerra for whole day skiing adventures.
You can easily get to Marmolada which has an amazing view of the Dolomites.
Local ski-pass is a bit pricy compared to Austria and France. This is partly offset by Dolomiti Super Ski pass which lets you access a huge number of locations and is a bargain if you're a good skier and can cover a lot of ground.
There is a point-based ski pass which is transferrable and is good for parents that need to babysit.

I'd almost rather not tell everyone how lovely it was - just in case everyone goes and it ends up spoiled!
It's a quiet and quite small village which is a great strength because it's family friendly, not overcrowded and still charming. Arraba is more difficult to get to than the larger villages of the Sella Ronda but very well located on the circuit for access to some other great ski areas including Grande Guerre circuit (beware taxi costs can add up for a family).
Our hotel was fab and the evening meals were superb. If you weren't so lucky with the evening meal, there aren't many other options - although I think a lot of the hotels do have a la carte restaurants.

Great location for skiers!
Great location for skiers! It has a direct connection to Marmolada, the best slopes (part of the Arabba-Marmolada domain), and direct access to both directions of the Sellaronda. Cables open a bit earlier than in other resorts. It has a smaller palette of restaurants and bars, but the ones existing are of good quality. As it is a smaller resort, there are few to no morning queues compared to the massive queues in Val Gardena, Ortisei or Corvara. I 100% recommend Arabba to anyone whose priority is skiing!

Great place to visit if you enjoy skiing, our favorite town on the Sella Ronda. Arabba is small enough to walk everywhere in ten minutes, has a decent grocery store, & good restaurants, Pizza at Pizzeria 7 Sass is stellar, Rifugio Burz is a treat for lunch.

I am positively surprised.
I am positively surprised. I was sure Arabba is fantastic for skiing, but now I found it also very attractive for summer activity as hiking. Although you need car for some trips, Arabba is a perfect starting point for many places in Sella and Marmolad group (we also enjoyed Puez from Arabba).
We had a wonderful experience in this hotel. Service and room was the best we had on our holiday in Italy, if not ever. The room was suite size so I suppose we have been upgraded due to low season. Especially we were mesmerized by the service of Fabrizio the waiter, who let us feel like king and queen during our meals. We never experienced this level of service by a person. Thank you very much to all hotel staff who were lovely. We were sad we could not stay more.
Staff very proffedinal, attentive, polite and always willing to help.
Dinner (HB) was excellent. from a rich salads / cold buffe, selection of pime and main is rich and very testy.
Breakfast was good, italian style with a lot of sweet pasteries and cheese
Sparkly clean hotel, comfortable with a tyrol style decoration of public and dinning areas.
Well maintained in a central localition of Arraba village with free parking.
Highly recommended hotel.
The room was exceptional, clean, everything in place, nice balcony, very nice view. We got a double room with an extra room for the kid.
The location of the Hotel is excellent, 5 minutes drive to the center of the town.
The staff was super nice and friendly. Excellent breakfast.
Thank you very much for the hospitality.
Nice staff that will take care of you. Perfect breakfest, clean rooms and bathrooms everyday. There is ski depot right at Burz ski lift so you do not need to move your ski back and forth everyday. There is nice vision from the rooms down to the Arabba. You do not need more if you are there to spend a time on ski.
Hotel Grifone exceeded my expectations with its location, exceptional service and the delicious cuisine.
What enriched the experience even more was the genuine care provided by the staff members.
Overall, I'd give the hotel an absolute 10/10 rating.
The property was pretty good, check in is at the hotel next to this hotel, within walking distance. The spa was a nice feature and the lady let us in for a few minutes even though we arrived right around closing time at 8pm.
everything was ok, nice breakfast, place for the bikes in the ski storage room, when you go for the sella rounda MTB Tour you have to start in the next Town and can't use the chairlift right at the hotel!
The service in the hotel is perfect. Although it is not on the ski slopes, they have a very regular shuttle that drives you to and from the lift, so it does not affect in any way the ski experience.
It’s such a cozy place. The room was comfortable, the dining room was adorable, the staff so nice. And free parking is close and we were close to the best ski area in the world.
Beautiful new modern hotel with nice view, helpful staff, balcony, great location, excellent food, great room, easy parking. The service was excellent and it was a great stay.
All Good - Had a Great Time - Very Clean - Staff VERY Friendly and Helpful - Location Excellent - Would come back with pleasure and I am Recommending Hotel Pordoi.
The hotel staff is very kind and considerate. Try very hard to respond and help every request.
The price was very good.
The hotel is 50-100 m' from ski lift.
