Located in the heart of the historical town of Stow-on-the-Wold, this property was a delight to stay in. The breakfast was quintessentially English as was the experience. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We were lucky to get a room on the ground floor. It comes with its own parking and that made things really comfortable. Stow is a wonderful place to stay in to explore the Cotswold region.

It was a real pleasure to to stay at this very elegant historic hotel which can I say holds accurate and precise measures in the current covid drama. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again as I felt so assured measures were being done to protect staff and guests alike. I came with my mum as we are both facing stressful lives personal matters and we really felt like this was a haven retreat to de stress and forget life for the time we were there. We took the delicious and hearty cream tea, dined for our evening meal (please be aware you must book for both as they fill up quickly) all ecceeded our expectations with quality and taste. We look forward to coming back again.

Great location, beautiful village all within easy walking distance or longer walking tracks available. Lovely old mill and church. Picturesque and a Ford that children were playing in, not a lot of traffic.

The idyllic location; the beautifully landscaped grounds; the professional, friendly, attentive staff; the quality food and beverage (bonus points for being able to get cappuccinos); the multitude of places to sit and enjoy the property, both inside and out; the pleasant mile or so ramble from the property down to Lower Slaughter, which offers two options for dining/drinks; the feeling of quiet and seclusion yet only 5-15 minutes from towns with shops- the best of all worlds.
This is a lovely hotel. It has such a homey feeling. Every detail is attended to. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is very clean. The multiple public spaces are comfortable and welcoming. It is luxurious in a comfy country way so much so that I feel very at home here. It has plenty of parking. The food is excellent. Be sure to treat yourself to dinner in the main restaurant. It is top tier.
The property itself is incredibly picturesque and has amazing views. The interior is very cozy as well. Also the location is perfect for walking through both Upper and Lower Slaughters. But the staff is what makes Lords of the Manor truly memorable. They are extremely warm and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. They truly made our stay and we look forward to returning.
The hotel had period charm with modern convienence which was a perfect combination for our short break. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room, beds, and chairs were very comfortable and the view from our room over the front gardens was delightful. The public rooms were cosy and comfortable.
The food was delicious and again the service was excellent.
Outstanding Breakfast, including a full compliment of Gluten Free items. Dining area and sitting rooms are inviting and comfortable. Surrounded by history and the true feeling of being in an English Manor House. The location in Upper Slaughter is charming and makes one want to buy a small stone cottage and move there. Reception and Staff.... superb!
I can’t say enough good things about this property. This is a stunning manor house with beautiful decor and surroundings. The room was large and beautifully updated and furnished. The staff is excellent. I enjoyed my visit so much and will be back as soon as I can. Highly recommend.
We had a fabulous two night stay at the Lords of the Manor, which is set in the most beautiful countryside, with plenty of walks from the hotel. The staff are exceptional and very welcoming., nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner in the à la carte were excellent.
The location was perfect. A beautiful manor house right on a beautiful walking circuit through the Cotswolds. And the staff were truly exceptional. Of all the places we stayed in the UK during our two week trip, none rivaled Lords of the Manor.
We liked almost everything about this hotel. The level of service provided by the staff was outstanding. The location in a small, quiet, non-market town is ideal. The building, decor, and grounds are all spectacularly beautiful.
Beautiful location in Upper Slaughter, gorgeous gardens and lovely walks. It was nice and quite away from crowds. The staff were lovely and dinner and breakfasts very tasty.
Enjoyed the whole experience.
The welcome was lovely, with all the staff making the hotel feel like a home from home.
The property and grounds are immaculate and the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds.
The room, hotel staff and atmosphere were wonderful. It was our first stay at this hotel but we will be back. It has a lovely location and feels very well maintained to a high standard.
This hotel sits in a pretty village with fantastic views. The staff were all great and very welcoming and the quality of the venue, room and food was exceptional. We will return.
The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, we had the greatest time thanks to them. The place is as wonderful as it looks in the pictures. We'll be back for sure
