Stayed for one night for work and the hotel met my expectations and beyond. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and the waitress went above and beyond. Ten out of ten all round.

The room was compact but this had been indicated in the information so was not a surprise. It contained everything necessary. There were some instructions regarding parking however this was not problem.

Appreciated the TV having Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon on it. The on-site manager was very kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

As others have said, the names apply to two separate bungalows adjacent, and either side of, the Saucy Mary pub, which is a hostel. You register at the Saucy Mary (an historical figure related in legend to the ruined Castle nearby). It is also a lovely food restaurant. Veggie meal choices good. It was fully booked so well known.
Views out from the pub are excellent over the Kyle's and Skye Bridge and the Gavin Maxwell (Ring of Bright Water book) visitor centre. Kyleakin is now a bit isolated since the ferry stopped but the grassy frontage is great and there are otters about if you are lucky in the evening. Two Electric car charging points in front too. Quiet. We were in a bedroom at the back of the bungalow but with a new modern bathroom. The other rooms are also rented out so it is shared entrance with keys to front door and your own room. Staff hardworking and friendly.

Relatively expensive compared to other accommodation booked...
Relatively expensive compared to other accommodation booked for our 12 day trip. Hotel felt a bit tired and dated. No hairdryer in room and ironing board provided was faulty. Bed was ok but moved too easily if pressed onto. Restaurant was full when we arrived at 7pm, so ate in the bar. Food was ok, but nothing to write home about and adequate selection. Would select another option for a future trip.

Wonderful views.
Wonderful views. Fishing boats moving across the water very restful. Bus near station only a few minutes away from Bothy, takes an hour to Portree on Skye. Train to Plockton 19 minutes. Wish we had had time for the boat trip from Kyle harbour. Hector's Bothy cafe often bustling, Pizza Mia freshly made carry outs good (haggis and red onion topping), Cafe opposite traffic lights friendly and welcoming. Very well stocked Co-op. Train journey to Kyle glorious, but a car might be better for exploring (good parking next to flat.)

Fabulous location, lovely room.
Fabulous location, lovely room. Evening bar and restaurant excellent.
Evening staff excellent
Breakfast - not good for the price of hotel, stern unhelpful staff member. Had to ask for water in the tea urn, wouldn’t serve hot porridge and then the hot breakfast later. ( you could only have it all served together) so you choose which went cold, your porridge or your cooked breakfast.

We would have stayed longer had we known about it and used it as a base for Skye as the hotel we headed to was extremely expensive and compared to this hotel and the staff here we knew we were getting ripped off. Balmacara is lovely and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Rooms were functional and compact.
Rooms were functional and compact. Over priced for what you get. Although, location was good for visit to Skye.
Breakfast was an additional £15, we opted out and went to a cafe just minutes from the hotel, had a lovely breakfast for a fraction of the price.

The house was a great location for visiting Skye.
The house was a great location for visiting Skye. We didn't actually explore much of Kyle of Lochalsh. Didn't seem too many option for eating out at night, but that didn't matter to us as we cooked or were out on Skye. Big supermarket in Kyle of Lochash and a couple of takeaway options.

This hotel is probably one of the nearest to Skye without actually being on it, hence the value for money is by far better staying Tingle Creek with its fabulous location. Andy the owner greeted us on arrival, his cheerful manner was first class and nothing was too much trouble for him. There was seven of us in our party (all men) and although he was on his own he managed to keep us fully served with beer, crisp, nuts etc. The evening meal was also excellent, so all in all we will hopefully back in September, thank you Andy.
The property was just what we wanted. Self catering, clean up to date and comfortable. However it was more than that. We felt like we were home. A lot of effort was put into making the property well presentable to guests. I love the little things like a pantry with extra stuff like salt and pepper sugar coffee and a lot more. Having a bottle of wine and milk was also quite thoughtful.
The location was perfect, even without a car. A nice 40 mins leisurely stroll into Kyle of Lochalsh to catch the 917 bus to Portree, Skye. Erubsaig is a beautiful, picturesque and tranquil village. Lots of beautiful walks nearby. Kate and Roy are fantastic hosts, I felt at home. My twin room was clean and quiet with awesome seaview. Breakfast was healthy and fresh. I'll be back soon!
The location was excellent. Right beside the main road to Skye and very close to Skye bridge. Good Co Op within walking distance and places to eat nearby.
Beds in the house were very comfortable, a really good sized kitchen.
Lots of accessories like toiletries, tea, coffee etc. And good utensils, equipment in the kitchen.
TV channels were decent too.
House was also clean.
Although the hotel is a little dated it was extremely clean, plenty tea/coffee/milk in room. Towels were soft, shower was good pressure, breakfast was really good. Husband usually has a cooked breakfast and I don’t sue to them mostly swimming in grease. When his breakfast arrived, no greasy plate! Friendly staff and dog friendly too. Good sea view too. Warm room.
The location of the hotel - a traditional Highland building - was great, we had an astonishing view over Loch Duich with unforgettable sunsets. We stayed there two nights and it was a good location for visiting Isle of Skye. We had a cosy room with a great view of the lake. Food was good as well. The place was very quiet and relaxing, I hope we will go back again!
The hotel is perfectly located. But what will mark us especially is the sympathy of its managers. They welcomed us warmly, we exchanged with them. They were very friendly and happy to help us with any problem or question. The hotel also has a bar whose atmosphere, very Scottish, we liked a lot. It was our best night in a hostel during our stay in Scotland.
A traditional hotel in a good location but "Bespoke" it certainly isn't.
A very oddly indifferent staff attitude which has to indicate poor management.
The bar has a transport cafe style, carelessly furnished.
Very nice room though minimal tv connections. Again, not Bespoke.
Happy to move on to next destination.
The welcome by the staff at this hotel was most friendly and helpful. In fact, their helpfulness was appreciated throughout our visit as circumstances caused us to be quite demanding in terms special arrangements for leaving our kit while we explored the town and killed time until our train departed.
Everything was amazing.
Sheila helped us plan the days out to make the most of them. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The food was amazing! The bed was the best we had our whole trip. She is very welcoming and I cannot wait to stay again on my next trip to Scotland.
The location was quiet & had a rural feeling, yet was within easy walking distance of the facilities in Kyle of Lochalsh. Superb view from the lounge over to Skye. Breakfast was excellent and as stated by the hosts, both of whom were friendly and convivial. Would certainly go back.
Really nice b&b with a beautiful little garden. Great breakfast. Shelagh makes you feel right at home! Hospitality could not have been any better. Kyle of Lochalsh is a cosy little place, close enough to the Isle of Skye.
Very handy as a mid point from Glasgow to Skye. Nice location right on Harbour. Very old hotel - wish they had the funds to restore the hotel as due to location it could be an outstanding place. Staff nice and clean .
Great location with easy access to nearby points of interest. Offstreet parking behind the hotel was available. Nice modern rooms and a great breakfast - try the porridge!
