The hotel was beautifully quiet. Wasn't too far of a drive from the centre, if you don't drive there is a bus service.

Room was spacious and clean (except for bug found in bathroom but it probably got in when I opened the window), bedside lights bright enough for reading. Staff was friendly and obliging. Lovely setting, lots of amenities (gym, pool, golf etc).

The cottage has the most beautiful gardens and the village is perfect with shop, pub, take away and a park perfect for the dog. Train to Edinburgh 300 yards down the road. Beach and Livingston short drive away. It has it all!
