Beautiful property with a lovely outside area. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side but the inside eating area was lovely and cosy also.

The quality of fitments in the room were excellet. Best shower, for pressure, I have ever had in a hotel. Our only interaction with the staff was when we booked in and had lunch. They were very friendly and helpful and the lunch ( a Thursday and Friday meal deal) was good quality, well priced and met our needs at the time.

Everything was excellent about this property. Location was spot on, short walk to village but peaceful out of the way. Lesley and Pete very friendly and Lesley even sorted out evening restaurant for us.
My only niggle was the I found the bed slightly uncomfortable but I am very fussy with my mattress and other reviews say how comfy it is so don't quote me.. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Nice little extras in room, lovely touch and thoughtful.

A lovely historic town with some tourist attractions within walking distance. We spent a day exploring the town and visited the model village, the motor museum and Birdland. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from; in warmer weather it would be lovely to eat outside and enjoy the views of the river.

Food options are varied, good old English, Italian, fine dining and tapas. The village is beautiful with many old properties that are well maintained. Pubs are oldy worldly and very busy at weekends. Plenty of good coffee shops. Paid Parking is available at either end of the village if staying over 1 hour so no problem parking. Village parking is restricted. Walking options are all around and many locals are happy to oblige if you need directions.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character. We visited slightly out of season so was not too busy. Smiths is an amazing restaurant, specialising in gourmet burgers, you will not be disappointed! Lots of other independent shops selling a range of crafts, antiques and much more.

Chester House Hotel is central to everything in Bourton on the Water. It's a very pretty and charming location. The hotel had everything on site, restaurant and bar. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food and service were very good. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent choice of breakfast from buffet to cooked.
We booked The Mousetrap as the last night of our honeymoon with our dog. We had a very friendly welcome and the hotel was very very dog friendly. Lovely quirky room with HUGE bed. Good shower and other facilities. The bar and restaurant have great decor and breakfast was delicious. The location is great... a short walk to the main street in Bourton but tucked away from the business.
The Lansdowne is a wonderful quaint, elegant, well-appointed inn. The staff and proprietors were friendly and helpful. Out the front door of the hotel, everything in the town was walkable and easily reached. The breakfast was delicious and I especially appreciated healthy options.
Can't beat the location, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the free tour of the model town and breakfast was incredible. Couldn't ask for more. We'll definitely stay again if we're back over in Bourton on the Water.
Great breakfast at the hotel across the road. The cottage was clean and spacious with nice decor, and is a fantastic location to explore Bourton on the Water. There is a kids play area behind the property which was a nice bonus.
The location was excellent especially as there was free parking on site
The hotel was lovely and the breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly hosts, would love to return but with a different room. Beautiful area to visit.
Great stay at the Lamb Inn. Jemimas cottage was fab, down the bottom of garden away from main hotel. Dog friendly too in hotel and bar. Staff were all very friendly, food was amazing and hotel is in a beautiful area.
Perfect country area but close to all the Cotswold attractions. Excellent choice of many freshly cooked or cold breakfasts with views of the garden and farm animals. Excellent large comfortable bed for a good sleep.
The hotel was just what we expected from an 18th century hostelry. The location on the river couldn't have been better. It lived up to all our expectations. Bourton on the water is picture perfect
The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance to all the attractions of Bourton on the water. The staff were great and the choice of breakfast and the quality was exceptional.
Location could not be better, car park outside, village 1 minute, the countryside walks I minute, all good. Hotel is what I would expect for the location and "experience" of the Cotswolds
Staff were so lovely and helpful.
The hotel was super.
Spacious room, great facilities.
Breakfast was fresh and lovely.
Right in the middle of the beautiful Bourton on the water!
We were very pleased with our accommodation. Like home from home. Only short walk into Bourton on the water and dog friendly too. Lots of places to travel to only short drive away.
Free car park which the big advantage because hotel located in the prime area with few steps to reach village center, decent breakfast, room and restaurant. Staff is lovely.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice and quiet traditional Cotswolds pub/hotel in a perfect location, dogs allowed, good full English breakfast included in a good price.
Such a great location, right next to the River Windrush which is the central attraction of Bourton on the Water. A cosy place which is great for singles and young couples.
