Clean & central location for the champagne houses & town, Christoph was brilliant, very welcoming on arrival, and gave us loads of pointers on where to visit & recommended several restaurants. When our plans changed we received first class service.

The hotel owner was exceptionally helpful to me after injuring myself during my pilgrims' walk.

The rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was sufficient.

Very disappointing to visit at Easter - most of the champagne houses were closed and the good restaurants were all full. I have been before in the summer when its much better. I must recommend Kitsch Cafe - literally the best coffee I have tasted in France.

A lovely city with plenty to see and visit, lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. Of course the champagne tasting is a must and we found a town called Monthelon with wonderful tasting at a small champagne house called Denis Frezier. A must if you visit this area.

Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train.
Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train. There is a lot to see and do and beautiful countryside and small villages to explore if you are into food and wine it is a paradise but remember bookings are often required moths in advance for some tours. Be aware it does not target the budget traveller so be prepared. there are cheaper meal options and great shops with ready prepared french classics to re heat.
Overall a great place to Base yourself. We try and Stay at La Mignonette it is well located with parking and your own kitchen and laundry. it helped stretch the budget.

Amazing place if you love Champagne but also if you want to learn more. The newly opened museum is very useful to understand how nature and human genius created the Champagne success. People are generally very kind and smiling.
We had the pleasure to have a tasting in Champagne Michel Gonet which we suggest.
The only bad experience has been with the lousy service of the "Brasserie de la Banque". We booked a table 3 days before going there because of a special occasion and received the confirmation. We entered on the booked evening at 19.50 and at 20.28 no one came even to ask us if we wanted to drink something. We simply left and the old person at the entrance (who showed us the table 30 minutes before) even did not notice it . Fortunately there is the place "Brasserie Le Progres" in face of it. We have been happily there three times in three days

Our friends recommended we stay in Epernay rather than Reims and I am glad we did. Epernay and the main street which is world heritage listed is lovely to stroll up and down, and it's easy to pop into a champagne house for a quick drink. Make sure you book your Champagne House Tours months in advance as we left it late and missed a few of our favourites. We drove to Reims for Veuve, Pommery and Mumm and Moet and many others are in Epernay. Reims was about 30min drive and the champagne houses provide parking.

Compact town with excellent restaurants and everything you would want if you are an Oenophile with the emphasis on the Fizz!
If you are self catering they have a big SuperMarche on the outskirts and 2 Mini shops in the town.
Chez Max Restaurant is a must eat if you are in town
Also good Bus service if you do not have a car.. Easy to use and cheap
Pleasantly surprised with the size of the apartment which easily accomodated the 5 of us. Great location in the centre of town. Parking can be paid using Paybyphone App which is easy, Sunday is free! It's an easy walk to Ave Du Champagne and nice restaurants nearby. Need to go early for dinner/lunch, if you're more than 3 people. We had car so easily booked dinner in restaurant on the other side of the bridge. We bought our takeaway stock in multi brand Champagne shop Salvatores next to car park just outside the apartment.
Everything was perfect! Comfortable clean larger room than most European rooms with great black out shades for light control. Staff helpful and friendly. Planned wife's birthday trip with help of the staff via email and everything went great. Recommendations were spot on. Couldn't of been more pleased. Great breakfast and actually one of the best we experienced during our three week trip. Location of hotel, again great! Definitely would stay here again if ever returning.
It is a little way from the train station but still walkable off of a main street and away from crowds. The host is welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure one is aware of what the property has to offer. One is welcomed into their private backyard garden where breakfast is served but also, the garden is made available in the afternoons for champagne and meat or cheese plates to purchase. I liked best that we were made to feel so very welcomed.
Anne Marie and Bruno are just the nicest people. The hotel is immaculate and their decorative style is impeccable. We loved our room, it was quiet and clean and super comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing! Loved having access to coffee, tea and water 24 hours in the upstairs parlor. They were so helpful with parking the car and the central location is perfect for exploring Epernay. We had a lovely stay.
Located near the Avenue de Champagne and also close to the train station (we didn't take the train) with a parking space close to the apartment, it was a great stay with all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and a dryer! There were even toiletries that went above and beyond. The kids also loved the toys and the stay was so great that they did not want to leave the apartment...
Well kitted out and very clean, this compact but very well located appartement was perfect for our short stay in Épernay. The double bed in the bedroom and the convertible sofa in the living room were both comfortable. The kitchen is compact but practical and had everything you need, including a nice coffee machine. Only 5 minutes walk from the avenue de Champagne, the location is very good.
Very nicely located littel hotel. About 15 minutes walk to the city center. Room was at bit small but had everything needed. Bathroom was rather new. The owners extremely friendly and caring about their guests. Enough parking space for cars. Breakfast was good for France, I missed some eggs but instead I had very good french croissants.
We will certainly come back to this place.
We love the Ibis group for their kid friendly hotels and have stayed in many on our trips to France in the past.
Whilst this one was in a great location, it did not come up to the standard of others we have visited. It felt like an office building and the bar area felt very cold and unwelcoming with ceiling tiles missing above the bar area and bare wires hanging out.
well located in the heart of Epernay. The apartment was clean with great facilities (cooking utensils, a refrigerator, etc). There are numerous restaurants near by and the distance to the Champagne Houses is walkable. Great accommodations for two or three adults or small family. You can do 4 adults if you are good friends. I highly recommend it and would book it again
This is a great location when staying for a night (or a weekend) in Epernay. The hotel is budget so do not expect luxury but it is clean and everything works well. Free parking and friendly staff. Location is a bit outside the center so a car is recommended when staying here. We will come back. Happy about the great value for the money we spent.
The hotel was lovely and the decor was beautiful we loved the glass orangery to the front of the hotel the room was clean and the bathroom was very nice too. It was very central in epernay and walking distance to all facilities the staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended and booked us a restaurant for the evening
The hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant reservations (which are recommended). It's about a 20 min walk into the center of Epernay and there are many champagne houses within walking distance. The breakfast is wonderful as well. Highly Recommend!
the location cannot be beat! right in the thick of all the champagne houses in Epernay. delightful boutique hotel with super comfortable bed and large bathroom. the breakfast each morning was just right — French pastries, fresh eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. plenty to start the day with!
La Cave de l'Avenue is perfectly located in the heart of the Boulevard de Champagne in Epernay. Our room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh, with delicious breads and an omelette on request. They also have an extensive wine/champagne bar and excellent tapas on the menu.
I used this hotel as a main base to explore the Champagne region. I booked for one night, but ended up staying 3 nights. Room was comfortable and large enough. Breakfast was quite good. Scenic views of the Dizzy and Epernay vineyards.
This is a really lovely building in an excellent location for exploring central Epernay, and the champagne houses. The hotel itself is really charming, super clean and lovely design objets everywhere. Its more of a B&B though.
Perfectly situated in the centre of Epernay, beautiful “hotel particulier” with secure parking in courtyard, comfortable bed, quiet, nice breakfast, charming hosts.
The apartment is absolutely lovely, and the hosts are so kind and accommodating. It’s well-situated in Épernay and is just a 30 minute drive from Reims.
