Location and check out of hotel and check-in to our apartment at Pinos Playa
This property is set just 984 feet from the Migjorn beach on the small Balearic island of Formentera, only 1.9 mi from the island’s capital of Sant Francesc de Formentera.
The tranquil landscape of Playa Migjorn, with its white sand and rocky cliffs, is the ideal spot for a more relaxed beach vacation. Part of a protected natural area, it's on the south-central coast of the island, 3 miles from San Francisco de Formentera. Water sports, in addition to sun bathing, are a popular activity in the area, and there are plenty of beach bars nearby for some much needed refreshment. Small, whitewashed properties give the area that typical Mediterranean feel.

Playa Mjgjorn is a long stretch of beach, some bits wider and better than others. I'd tend to stick to properties to the west of the south coast for best beach option and access. It's a lovely spot and if you have transportation you can get around easily. Number L2 bus serves Ca Mari well.
Great sunsets, and some nice little beach bars dotted around.
Limited vegetarian options throughout!

4 stars, really.
4 stars, really. It’s more like 1 1/2 to 2 stars hotel at best. The costs for what you get is way to exagerated. I have no problem at all to pay for something, but this was by far the worst experience i got for what i payed for.
To sum it up: beach mediocre with alot of alges, rooms at best 2 star level, food expect the cheapest things you can buy for money, that’s the quality of food. Reception is a nightmare!
Good things: animation is doing their best and it’s ok… and at least the staff is cleaning every day.
Save your money, you get alot of better hotel around the world for this price. Way to overrated and too expensive.

Playa Migjorn is a stunning beach with so many different contrasts. At the hotel it was very calm with some rocks and clear but further along just cristal clear then at the top end more wild and rocky but with clear water.
The beach bars are all so different, our favourite Kiosko 62 is on the beach with cristal clear water and not such a busy part of the beach.
Stunning sunsets and some boating activity. Views from the hotel bar and restaurant were stunning.

Lovely area at the heart of the island - great base for exploring and getting away for the busy towns in the evening. Highly recommended. The beach was great - you could spend a good few days exploring the beach alone. There are some fantastic restaurants in this area too. Its very easy to get around and even easier to get to to all other corners of the island from this area. Nothing to avoid here is was lovely. Great place to watch the sunset from this side of the island...

Very nice clean beach with long stretch of sand and crystal clear waters. Not to many people at the start of September. Some restaurants bars though we took our own food and drink so not sure of how they were but looked nice. Wooden path connects all te beaches so oí can walk to a spot you like. Some parts of the beach have lingers and umbrellas though we just sat in the sand and moved between different locations in the beach to explore.

Playa Migjorn boasts cristal clear waters, smell of pine...
Playa Migjorn boasts cristal clear waters, smell of pine trees, beautiful sunsets and a good choice of places to eat. It is very good for families with small kids because of the sandy shallow sea bottom.
At rare times, it can be windy and one cannot step into the water because of the high waves. No problem! Go to the north coast of the isle, it will take you 30 mins on foot and 5-10 mins by car or bike. The beach on the other side is well worth visiting!
This is my thirds time at Astbury Apartments Voga Mari. And I have just one word: perfection. There is not better location on the island, the apartments are comfortable and everything you expect is there, even things you might not expect, like a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and a bag of crisps! (yes, you arrive tired and hungry from your journey and immediately feel at home). Formentera is a jewel, but Formentera at Astbury Voga Mari is double jewel and you really feel immersed in the beauty of the island there.
A short stroll from the sea, it’s a stylish and well appointed boutique hotel, nestled in lush green pine trees and other indigenous flora. The rooftop bar offers indelible views of the well preserved natural surroundings as well as great cocktails, best enjoyed at sunset. It’s clear a lot of thought went into creating the best experience possible down to the smallest detail. The location, away from the Ibiza crowds descending onto ses Illetes, is ideal to explore the many surrounding beaches and coves.
Staff were friendly in a relaxed non-pushy way.
As an HSP, this hotel had 2 major bonuses: (1) the fridge in the room was silent (2) the airco machines outside were silent.
Lovely sea-view from the balcony.
Breakfast was excellent. Dinner menu was excellent too from the Sicilian chef, great value for money. We arrived a little before 22h,had not eaten and it was not a problem to still serve us the dinner menu.
Great poolsize with saltwater
- Location: near the beach, near the bus stop, near a lot of good and fair restaurants (even the hotel "chiringuito" - a small restaurant in the beach sand - was good and with fair prices)
- Quiet place
- We asked for and got a room with sea view
- Good breakfast that accommodated our lactose free and gluten free needs
- Very friendly and attentive staff
- Fairly large and very well maintained pool with water at 24~25º C
Situated in a wonderful spot direct at the sea. View from room fantastic. Very clean room. Could hear the waves. Balcony good size with a sun umbrella. Our cleaning lady was the nicest person in the whole hotel. Always smiling and friendly greeting even if we couldn't communicate well. Reception was helpful with our questions. Outside breakfast area is really nice.
Not for couples... The hotel is expensive and very standard level. The bathroom was small and unconfortable. The staff is polite but the hotel is very big and there are too many people, the breakfast was so noisy.
It was good to have the car rent in front of the hotel.
Easy access to keys, even arriving late. Excellent location. Es Caló is 5 minutes away. Playa Migjorn 3 km away. Can Rafaelet restaurant has very good dishes and the bar the best sunset views.
very quite rooms with the garden view. very clean and comfortable as well.
the rent bikes and scouters is just next to the hotel so was also very convenient.
The hotel is well located and has even a mini market, which is super practical. Rooms are comfortable and with AC - much needed for summers in Formentera.
Gorgeous boutique hotel. Rooms very clean and comfy. Friendly staff and great service. Restaurant was really nice and great location to watch the sunset.
