This is a wonderful town. It is particularly wonderful on a clear day. I would recommend the boat-trip on the lake at sunset. There are lots of travel agencies that offer full-day tours in the region. I did one called Huilo-Huilo and it was absolutely great!ChrismateFrance - 8.0Scored 8.0

Town is small enough to go around by walking. Lots of restaurants and bars. Dining in restaurants is not cheap. Beach is nice and clean, sand is very rough though. Sandals or shoes are recommended to use. Water is bright and clear. View is nice with mountains and lake.

Great place to have an active and nature week. Climbing the volcano and hiking around the lakes of Huerquehue is a must do, but besides that there is enough to easily fill up a week. The town is quite touristic, giving also a lot of good food options.PeterNetherlands - 10Scored 10

A lovely spot but a culture shock after you have been in the wild areas of Patagonia. Very, very busy when we were there, parking is difficult. If you like fast food, plenty of noise and watching people you will love it. Personally I couldn't wait to get out

By the time we returned our bags were placed in our room and it was ready. Breakfast is very robust and delicious with many fresh options. Our room had a great view of the volcano so we could watch the faint orange glow as we fell asleep at night. Furthermore, Ali assisted us in booking adventures and navigating the surrounding areas nearby Pucon. I highly recommend Eifelhaus.

Although the room was not large, it was comfortable with a nice bed and enough shelves and counter-space that we could keep ourselves organized.

The grounds are beautiful, the cabana is big and very nicely designed and appointed. The Cabana is very quiet and private. The hosts were wonderful.
