We thought the breakfast could have been enhanced by having eggs available. The selection was limited and not the typical European breakfast we enjoy. Our room and the view were wonderful and very clean and comfortable. The staff particularly front desk and restaurant servers were outstanding

The location of the hotel worked well for us. It was an easy walk to the main part of town and to the bus stop. We loved that our room had a balcony with a beautiful view. There were so many yummy choices of food for breakfast. The staff was friendly and professional.

Everything was excellent! A group of 8 of us stayed between two of their quadruple rooms and it was perfect! The restaurant next door was so good too! Highly recommend for families wanting to get the full Gruyeres experience!

View was great, but the unpainted concrete walls on the patio ruined it a bit. Parking is free and plenty of space. Kitchen is very clean and has enough pots and dishes.

The view was excellent and the accommodations were good for our family of 4 (with 2 adult children). The kitchen was in general well furnished. The beds were fine and there was adequate extra pillows and blankets. The shower was very good, very quick hot water with good pressure. The owner provided excellent directions and instructions for finding the chalet and finding the right parking place. The key lock box was good so we could arrive at any time.
