Brilliant location, in a quiet street but close to the vibrant Carré area. On several bus routes to the main train station (Guillemins). The Liège-Carré train station is close to the hotel. Les Acteurs is 10 minutes' walking distance of the Opéra, theatres, museums, cinémas, numerous restaurants and shops. Explore around Rue de la Casquette. The hotel is friendly, excellent value for money given its location. Very clean, open 24 hours and staff personalise service. Breakfast at 12 Euros was very good.

Located near the borders with the Netherlands and Germany, on the Meuse River, the university city of Liège is the largest in Wallonia. This inviting destination has a historic centre with brilliant monuments and flea markets.
Birthplace of the Emperor Charlemagne, French-speaking Liège is popular for the traditional Liégeois puppets and the long stairway of the Montagne de Bueren. La Batte is a large Sunday waterfront open-air market with everything a traveller could imagine like local food, clothes and books.
The 10th-century palace of the prince-bishops is a magnificent building with two courtyards. Visitors should not miss the iconic Fragnee Bridge and Liège Cathedral. Also known as St. Paul's Cathedral, this Gothic structure was restored in the 19th century and is home to historic treasures.

many old houses not in good shape anymore. The city doesn't seem to have a concept to ensure that the old quarters are preserved. An in former times for sure a beautiful city seems now to lack money. Streets are often not clean. Still worth visiting.

The continuing tramworks are still a problem although the situation is improving. I wouldn't visit for tourism until they are finished. The Au Point de Vue restaurant offers good value for money if you are in the vicinity of the opera house.

The centre of the city is a huge building site as a new tram system is being constructed. This has been going on for a couple of years and only seems to be getting worse. Once it rains the paths turn into a mud-bath. I do not recommend going there at present.

Nice location on the river Meuse.
Nice location on the river Meuse. The staircase to the top of the citadel is insane but awesome! Nice pubs to sit and relax. Much of the city is under construction, new tram line and roads. Feron street was completely shut down so scratch it off of your itinerary. The Curtius museum is huge, plan for at least 2 hours.

liege had a nice old town area. we loved the restaurants and patisserie shops.
no real central hub, dirty stinking streets, obviously people don't use public toilets and just piss on the streets the stink is everywhere.
biggest problem was the amount of drug users. yes found in every city but i was surprised by just the huge number we had seen. although we did still feel safe during the day.
not the best looking Belgium city very grey stark buildings.
ok for a day trip.

Great inner city pedestrian area filled with shops, restaurants, bars. Liege Cathedral, and it's treasure, was fantastic. Ticket for the treasure room gives you free entry to the archaeology museum, which is also amazing - just underneath those modern streets is 2000 years of history!
There are waffles freshly baked on every corner, I recommend filled with chocolate, and you should find a nice place to eat the local specialty - Boulet à la Liégeoise - juicy meatballs in a tangy sweet gravy. 1 makes a very filling lunch, 2 a fab dinner. Served with chips, the famous Belgian chips, and salad, a delicious meal. We ate at La Brasserie De l’Élysée, which is a short walk from the cathedral.
We're very sad the second day, Sunday, was torrential rain, we'll have to come back to see the Sunday market!
The hotel is located on the way in between the train station and the centre of the city. Superb breakfast, including fresh honeycomb and a glass of sparkling wine if you wish. The waiters are very efficient. BTW, the breakfast area is very well designed. So is the Sky-bar on the 10th floor - nice place to sip a glass of wine in the evening (only on Th, Fr and Sat, though). I got a very clean room, spacious, with huge and comfortable bed. A lot of TV channels to chose from.
Room was lovely, staff mostly friendly and free chocolate is always a pleasure. Additionally room was quite spacious and decently furnished. Location is also not bad, even though one must cross river to get to the district with stores and restaurants, it is within walking distance from a nice park and art museum. After checkout we were allowed to leave our backpacks for few hours, which is extremely friendly gesture since the hotel has no official lockers
The flat was wonderful and very spacious. Would have been very pleasant to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy it. All amenities were there, nice design touches.
The breakfast in the main building of the hotel is quite a visual experience, being an old train station. Very friendly staff, the selection, without being very wide, is still very tasty and covers a wide range of taste.
Everything! The room is amazing! I don’t really want to leave lol. The public area is very comfortable. The staffs are very willing to help both online and in person.
I really have to make a comment before I leave tomorrow because this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed. The price is very reasonable for a studio. Very impressed.
And it’s very close to the train station.
It is a very modern and very nice hotel. You have shared hostel-type rooms with an incredible value for money. Everything very clean and very comfortable beds. You have free coffee and infusions, towels are included. There's a rooftop bar with cool views of the train station next door. You can reach the city center by walking along the river in 20 minutes.
The staff was excellent. Great place for English-speaking visitors. The room was nice, unfortunately, there was extensive construction throughout the city during our stay which did detract from the view and the ability to reach the hotel.
This was one of the few hotels that had a room for 4 people. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to the station. The parking garage was close by.
