Close to airport and bus routes. Clean.
It is a budget hotel so rooms are very small.

I travel here for work on a regular basis. There is not a lot here. Its just a dormitory zone for airport hotels. There is a small town, its very local, but there are restaurants including a good Italian and of course a Friterie !

It is very convenient when you have to work in the area and also have a plane to catch shortly. It is also a quite green neighborhood with buses 12 and 21 and trains (Dieghen railway station) taking you to the city center in only 20 minutes more or less.

Every experience was great. if I had to complain about anything which would be hard, it would simply be that there was no coffee making facility in the room. but the hotel experience was great and the staff were amazing.

Diegem is on the outskirts of Brussels, close to the international airport. You don't go there to see Diegem, you go there because it's close to the airport.
That said, Brussels is great, and well worth spending a day or two tasting beers and waffles.

Location with close proximity to the airport was excellent.
Location with close proximity to the airport was excellent. The only problem was the difficulty in getting a taxi at the train station to take us to the hotel. Taxi company refused to send a taxi to the main entrance of the train station unless I could provide a specific street address (i.e., name and number).

The hotel is very close to the airport, so it's suitable if you have to be very early in the morning in the airport, because one bus takes you from the hotel to the airport for free every 30 minutes. If your plan it is going to the center of Brussels the hotel is far away and the bus service is scarce and long delayed!
I stayed one night before flying out of Brussels Airport. This hotel had a simple, small room which is all that I needed. It was quiet for being close to the airport, and I especially liked the restaurant and bar. The restaurant has a small menu, but you can get Belgian beer on tap and some Belgian staples, and the food was surprisingly good for an airport hotel. I recommend you take the train from the hotel to the airport, as the closest train station is only a 5-minute walk.
- We needed a last minute hotel near the airport because of a cancelled flight, and as we have used Ibis a number of times before, price and availability was good, and the reception answered our call for a question we had, we made the last minute booking.
- competitive price
- excellent pizza and beer from the small restaurant in the hotel lobby.
- our stay was on a very cold night, but the reception helped out with a good electrical plug-in heater
Very close to the Brussels Airport. I didn't use their shuttle bus and used taxi but it is just 10mins away and costs EUR20.
Hotel staffs were very nice, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed several Draft Belgian beers at the hotel bar which were very nice. Room was clean and spacious which 2 of complimentary water bottles.
Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel at €250+ a night. The staff are not attentive at all, always having to get up and find someone to take an other or something. The room wasn’t all that clean, people stuff was still in the fridge. The food wasn’t great, especially the breakfast.
* The low price. you actually get what you paid for.
* The close location to Brussels Airport. not that much close, but it was acceptable.
* The cleanliness of the rooms.
* The availability of free Wi-Fi.
* The proximity of the hotel to De Lijn bus stop and the tram stop.
Penta hotel was within walking distance of my business meeting and within walking distance to Diagem train station for my return travel to Brussels Midi. It aligns with my personal intentions of using public transport / walking wherever possible when travelling on business.
The staff is very friendly and accommodated our requests for a quiet room and a nice view.
We were very satisfied with the proximity of the hotel to Brussels Airport --- only 5 minutes --- and a free convenient airport shuttle.
The Hotel is very well connected and near by to the airport, but also on the front of the hotel there is trainstation to Brussels city. The hotel is very high quality. I got also very good offer. When you can catch just take!
Easy to find (unlike some reviews have suggested) there is a clear difference between the IBIS and the IBIS budget so just remember what hotel you’ve booked and you’ll be fine. Room was a nice size and the aircon was great.
Short taxi ride to airport for a fixed fee of 15 euros. I had a very early flight but hotel booked me my taxi for 4am without problem. It's about a 12 minute walk from Diegem train station and with an upwards slope.
We had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful and clean. The personnel was very friendly and helpful and made this stay even better! If you’re ever looking to stay near Brussels airport this is the place to be!
Modern hotel not far away from the airport. Clean, equipped, in a quiet area on the edge of the city. Excellent breakfast.
There’s a bus coming to the airport, otherwise (at night) one needs a taxi.
The hotel has a regular shuttle to and from the airport. The toilet and shower in separate rooms is very convenient when traveling with someone. The bathroom seemed very clean.
