The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the room we stayed in was big, and very comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice. The view from the room and from breakfast area was breath-taking. Excellent place if you prefer a quiet stay near Salzburg.

Many thanks to the receptionist girl when we checked out, who made our the staying much lighter, funnier and more homelike! ……The balcony was with the view of the snow caped mountains and church in another side, which was wonderful.
Visited in July for relaxing short stay.
Liked the toboggan run - good fun but recommend to go early in the day before it gets busy as delays can occur behind small children.
Limited on choice of restaurants.
Beautiful scenery.
Simple yet spacious and immaculately clean room with balcony edged with pretty pink flowers overlooking the swimming pond. Breakfast had many delicious options. Coffee was good too. Parking is great, the hotel also had a list of decent restaurants nearby (only the Austrian side of the border, which a literally a stonethrow away). Ample parking. Kehlsteinhaus is a less than 10 minute drive, Salzburg about 20 minutes. The hotel offers a lot of Spa treatments that we unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to use.
