We stayed there with two families with 4 kids aged 2 to 10 and were super satisfied with the whole stay. Kids were especially fond of the chicken in the garden. The owner was really helpful and friendly, location was just in the historic center, spacious and clean rooms, the hotel has a beautiful garden with fruit trees and plenty of space, breakfast was something to wait for :).

What a lovely welcome and stay! We felt part of the family immediately. They were so kind and thoughtful and we enjoyed their company. The garden is a delight, full of plants, herbs and salad, with shady places to sit. The rooms have traditional Cypriot furniture and artifacts. We had a delicious evening meal with the family and breakfast too – everything fresh from the garden or hand-made. You could not find a more friendly and welcoming place to stay. We highly recommend Mystery House for single travellers and families – everyone!

It set us up for the day. The guest house is an oasis in a city, great location being in the center but very quiet and peaceful. Loved the gardens which surrounded the property and lots of birdsong. The owner of the guest house clearly cares about his guests and offers lots of information about the history of the area and tells interesting stories about his family. He was very keen to make sure we were happy.

The hotel is quirky, rustic, elegant, quiet, delightful, and beautifully designed. Tolga and staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and breakfast is amazing. Famagusta Old Town has many restaurants, small bars, little shops and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, which is delicious, all within walking distance and we hired a car to get to beaches and explore further afield.
