Don't even look any where else, honestly this was our second time staying at Utamaduni. Staff were super friendly and helpful and excellent service. Breakfast was great. Rooms were super spacious and comfortable. Couldn't ask more. It is close to town centre. You can book a taxi for only 6000 tsh to town centre, super easy to book via a local app called indriver it is like a uber.

Stayed at Nyumbani Palace for a couple of nights, as we spent a few days in Arusha before and after our safari. I can really only say positive things about the property and the owner - both exceeded our expectations. The property is in a great location, very quiet, immediately next to Kenya consulate, walking distance from city center and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, large, very clean, and all facilities and a fully equipped kitchen are also included. Bonus for me was the wonderful green garden - perfect as a quiet setting to catch up with some remote work. I found the staff also very friendly and helpful. The owner was also no exception - was of great help with information and tips about things to do in Arusha. We also had some inquiry to our local airline regarding our flight to Dar Es Salaam and she offered to call the airline helpdesk and sort out the issue! We enjoyed the experience so much in fact that we booked the same place for a couple of extra days after our safari.

Everything. The pool the outdoor garden the atmosphere so welcoming you feel like you are at home! Cecil and Marley are so welcoming and they helped by storing my luggage while I went on a safari and also arrange to drive me to Kilimangiaro Airport which is pretty far. I enjoy spending time in the Garden & pool and have a beer even though my stay was short it was great. Also they made dinner the night I was there and it was vegetarian and it was one of the best dinner I had during the trip! Also both dogs are the cutest! Thank you so much!

    The villa is easily found, and in a good location 40minute walk from the centre or a short dala dala ride. Water gets nice and hot, and the breakfasts are absolutely amazing. Very generous portions! and it includes a nice mix of local food and a few western home comforts. All staff are incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere is calm, quiet and private despite being close to the main road- we really enjoyed our time here.

    Very communicative host Walter, comfortable room, bed and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood, not to far from city centre. Walter helped me out with a lot of things, really takes care a you a his guest. Try to be in touch with Walter before going there , the place is a bit hard to find using only navigation. By phone he can explain best way to get there. Good value for money!

    We slept a total of 3 nights at Utamanduni Hous and were very impressed with the accommodation. The accommodation has 4 very nicely furnished rooms, one common room and a big garden. Chris is a great host and the staff are incredibly helpful. Traditional cooking was done for us in the evening. The breakfast with fresh fruits as well as jam and pancakes is excellent. The property also has a beautifully landscaped garden with a seating area around a campfire pit and a small outdoor bar.

    I like to think of this place as a bed and breakfast or boutique hotel. It is a small cute hotel located off a dirt road about 15 - 20mins from Arusha Airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was cheap and nice. Location was in the middle of town with so many businesses nearby.

    Great location close to the city centre (the Booking.com location is accurate; Google Maps is outdated). Quiet area, comfortable flat with own kitchen, bathroom and living room. Swahiba is a great host, we are glad for having got to know him and supporting his business. Bed was comfortable and the fruit juice maker in the kitchen was a bonus! :)
