Cherrywood House, B&B in Dubai

It was a beautiful house, close to metro and bus stop, and in a beautiful neighborhood. Mabel, the housekeeper, was an amazing companion for guests! Well, if you wish to visit Dubai but bored (even in advance) of skyscrapers, malls and marble floor 5star hotels which could be anywhere in the world and rather take a risk to immerse yourself in the reality of the everyday life of an old "souk" = arabian market in perfect safety, you have arrived to the best spot. :) I truly surprised my wife with sleeping in this tiny but enormously fun BnB. Upon arrival to Al Ghubaiba bus/metro station as a blond European girl she was immediately approached by market vendors on our 5-10 minutes walk to Mazmi Casa and I could not help enjoying her misunderstanding of where did I take her now. :))) But finally arriving to Mazmi she was like enjoying a fairy tale after shredding Aladdin's lamp. :) To say it short, this is truly the perfect place to see the Old Town at your mouth, the Gold and Spice souks on the other (Deira) side of the creek, easily accessible by old 'abra' wooden motorboats jiggling between both sides at rapid speed for just as little as 1 AED/person/way (only cash!), a true fun on its own! Heritage Village is just a short walk along the creek, with magnificent instagram-compative photoshoot options and small shops, but I most enjoyed the true souk feeling, bargaining and eating with the locals day and night inside of the shadows of the souk itself. As everyone wrote, rooms are authentic, clean, comfortable and cute, breakfast excellent, service is the true Arabian-style guest-oriented one with Alvin in centre, but all kind colleagues help you with anything, so you will feel truly home and safe all time in a dream. :) The Cafe itself is frequented by a seemingly faithful gourmand clientele and some proud cute cats. :) The Afghan shop in the neighbour makes you feel crazy for coming only with hand baggage. :)

Some of the units have a satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a bath and a hair dryer. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

this is my first time staying at a hostel, and the all-girls place that the landlady Lisa provided was 1- super clean, comfortable and despite that it was not her job to do so, she provided towels and toiletry. 2- safe 3- and very central at close proximity to Dubai media city and all attractions in Marina 4- you just cross the street and can enter the hotels with their beach facilities (some pose a fee), and the nearest free beach either at JBR or al Sufouh is less than 7 min away by taxi. 5- the views overlooking the emirates golf course were breathtaking. 6- I extended my stay for a few more days and Lisa was super helpful in providing accommodation at another place she runs across the street it was also super clean, safe with breathtaking views overlooking Dubai Palm island

    The spacious apartment was pure luxury, the views onto the palm and the sea were amazing, the layout and the quality finish included everything you needed for a five star holiday. The pool area and private beach is breathtaking great for families, couples and caters for everybody, plenty of sun beds and a great swim up bar, the staff were brilliant and offered a great service Sonder on JBR is in a great location with everything you need close by, restaurants, bars, supermarkets.

Additional variety of fresh fruit rather than just melon. Pool area was lovely with towels and plenty of seating. Shuttle to kite beach (30mins away) was good.
