Just outside St Helier, this 14th-century manor house features a 3 AA-Rosette restaurant, an outdoor pool with al fresco dining and a casual cocktail bar. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them.

Originally built in 1843, the elegant Château La Chaire is truly one of the islands' finest country house hotels, with a superb fine-dining restaurant boasting AA Red Star and Rosette awards. Very causy. Nice Rooms, stuff very friendly, excellent breakfast.
